We loved our stay here. It was beautiful with all the eucalyptus trees and vast hillside views. The rangers were very nice and helpful. The sites are far apart from each other and everyone we were staying with at the time was quiet around us. The only issue we had with this site was backing in. We stayed in site 12 which probably had one of the better views of all the sites. However, the only way we were able to get in to the site was with the help of a fire fighter friend of someone visiting the campers next to us. It took about 5 times pulling out, driving around the loop, and then repositioning before we were able to get into the site. Now this was my husband's 3rd time backing our trailer in so there definitely were some newbie level issues here but it was also a tight spot to get into. One side of the road is lined with trees and the other side of the site has two small poles to protect the hook up but also add a challenge to getting into the site.

All in all I would go back to this park to camp again. We had good cell signal and were both able to work and take Webex meetings, but the getting into the site was definitely memorable.

We enjoyed our stay here. The sites were easy to get in to and really well maintained. The only drawbacks for us were the noise from the tent campers at night and the highway noise. We were in site 13 and in the future I think we will stay in the higher site numbers as they are further back into the park.

We loved our stay here! The park was very, very clean and well maintained. Our site was large and easy for us novice parkers to get in to. It was mostly quiet except for a few disruptions from the long timers next to us but nothing that was obnoxious and the noise ended quickly.

We stayed in the F loop and while it was pretty, I think in the future we will try for one of the hill loops so we can have a lake/Mountain View.

We stayed a week here and loved it. The campground were very clean and updated. The sites were level. The hiking trails were nice. I can’t think of a single bad thing about the park.

We really enjoyed our stay at Lake Skinner. We stayed in campground A site 101 and it was a perfect spot. It’s at the end of the line, has two trees for cover and you have an unobstructed view of the hills and mountains. The site was larger than we expected and mostly level. Our neighbors for the weekend were respectful and not too loud past 8pm. We did not do any fishing or boating so I can’t comment on that but the hiking trail loop was nice for walking our dogs. We both enjoyed how close it was to wine country and could be back during off season considering the reviews posted about noisy campers during the on season at the lake.

We really had a nice time staying in Mt Madonna. It is a gorgeous park with level but unpaved site (Sites can be small so make sure to check site sizes). We were able to get our 20' Bambi in the site pretty easily but had a hard time getting our truck in the site as well. Our site was quiet and pretty secluded from neighbors.

There are lots of nice hiking trails that our pups loved and the weather was cool and misty when we went in the summer. Lots of tree cover.

A few of the cons are there is very little cell signal. We were planning to work a little on this trip and the only way we could was to drive to the ranger's station and get on their wifi. Our cell booster kind of worked but not well enough to take calls or do much work at the trailer.

This would be perfect for a quiet, disconnected stay.

We stayed here for about 4 days and loved it. We arrived after their water shut off so there was no water hookup at the site but getting water was very easy. They reserved one of the sites down just to get water and we never had an issue.

It rained and hailed most of the nights we were there which made it super cozy. We loved the dog park that is there and our two springers did too. We stayed here while we visited Bend and would definitely do it again. Internet was pretty consistently good.

Pros:
- Awesome views of the ocean
- Full hookup
- Relatively quiet

Cons:
- Incredibly rude night time staff
- Tight spaces
- You can’t pick your site prior to arrival
- Very expensive price per night
- No online booking
- A ton of rules and restrictions on types of rvs allowed
- Tons of rules and restrictions on breeds of dogs allowed
- Signage of said rules EVERYWHERE
- You can’t park next to your RV

We stayed for 4 nights at the Malibu Beach RV Park. I was pretty excited when we booked it even though it had a hefty price per night due to the proximity to the ocean. We’ve had our trailer for about 2 years now and have yet to camp close to the coast.

We arrived after a long 4 hour drive and were greeted by who I assume was the manager/owner. My husband got out to do the check in process and when he went to get our paperwork the manager slapped his hand away and was incredibly rude. As we drove to our site I realized just how tight it was and while we’ve gotten a lot better at backing into sites, this site was very small. We have a 20’ trailer and this was advertised as a 22’ site. It barely fit our trailer.

Once we got into the spot, the manager/owners partner came over to tell us we had to move closer to the left side so we had more “living space”. This living space was about 6’ and right next to our neighbor’s sewer line. Neither of us really thought we’d spend time there but he insisted so we tried to move closer to the left. After getting the trailer good enough for our liking, he had the audacity to say “this a new thing for you?” And then insisted we keep trying to get closer to the left side of the site. Every time we’ve had a slight struggle into a spot, whoever is around helps us. Saying passive aggressive comments like that isn’t helpful. Eventually he gave up on watching us after a few more rude comments and left. After a mediocre site and horrible experience with the managers, we won’t be back. Not worth the price or hassle.

We stayed here as an overnight on our way to Zion. It was clean, quiet, and did the job. The sites are a little close but for a night or two in Vegas, it isn’t bad. WiFi was good enough to stream too which was amazing

We stayed in site 30 on the rim. It was a beautiful spot. It was paved so it was level and not too hard to get in to. Coming into the property you’re going to want to take an immediate left and go the back driveway if your in the sites in the back as the straight on driveway is hard to navigate since it’s all one way traffic through the sites. We had to back up and turn a bit with our 20’ Airstream which wasn’t bad but I could see something larger having issues.

We stayed Memorial Day weekend which meant the park was completely full. For the most part everyone was kind and respectful. There was one site of wild and crazy children that made part of our stay a little less relaxing but all in all we liked it. It’s a short drive to lots of good hiking. We even were able to drive to big bear lake for one of the days.

The only cons for us were that the sites were a little close so you can hear all of your neighbor’s sounds and conversations. If you came on a less busy weekend I imagine it would be a very relaxing stay.
