If you can get passed the rude guy, Chris, at checkin, it’s a nice park. Large spaces. Nothing fancy but good overnight stay.
Location of this park is nice. Very easy to get to places in Lubbock. Office staff also very nice. But.... our spot was very noisy by highway and next to their dumpster. Grounds were covered with cigarette butts and there is no where to walk your dogs except your own spot or someone else’s spot. Owners said to walk them anywhere there is grass. I felt like we were intruding on other people spots. Park could use some attention to details. Lots of permanent campers there to.
First time here and really liked it. We were only in overnight but would definitely stay again. My favorite park was the antique fire hydrants in the dog park even though I would have liked that area fenced in. Very clean and large site for our Class A.
Stayed here a couple times over the years and always enjoy it. Right off the freeway so a little road noise but ask to stay furthest away. Nice fenced in dog area for our pups.
Liked this place for an overnight but basically just a parking lot with water and 50 amp service. Enjoyed the casino and won! Woke up to tons of Buffalo in the field next door! Good grass areas for dogs to do their business but mine weren’t too fond of the buffalo.

Nice clean well maintained park. Only stayed overnight in our Class A and had ample room in our pull thru spot. Only problem was we could not get satellite due to the large trees. Overall good experience. Hosts even baked homemade cookies and shared with us.
Pretty wooded area but 90% of campers seemed to be full timers with many campsites looking very trashy. People were all friendly though. Tight drive to get to our site in our Class A. Would not stay here again.
Had reservation here 2 months prior to arrival with written confirmation. Showed up and they had no record but told us they refunded our $64 charge but it has not showed up on our side yet. Whole place is under construction. Didn’t stay. Maybe would be an ok place after construction but not now. Ugh!

Love this park! Stayed 8 days in early June so park wasn’t crazy busy. Loved the fenced dog parks. Will definitely be staying here again if in the area.
Liked this park a lot. One complaint though is the grass area next to the lake by the basketball court was so full of dog poop it was disgusting! We travel with our dogs and wouldn’t even take them there. But lots of other grass areas for them. People, please pick up after your dogs!
