Came in late, self check in, $34 all sites, we got a full hookup site, couple nights, it served its purpose, not very private or have any real shade trees but we picked our own site,

For what I needed it worked, which was a place to crash for the night, however would likely avoid in the future. Had planned on staying in Lima, OH however the park there was full and this was the only place nearby with availability.

When I checked in the guy running the place mentioned it was a really quiet park, except for the occasional truck passing by. Luckily I’m a heavy sleeper as the freeway is just a pitching wedge away, and heard a train within 30 minutes of being here. Also didn’t help to have someone revving their Harley (as they were struggling to keep it running) at 9:30pm.

Park consists of mostly work chasers, mostly gravel sites with a handful of uneven grass sites. $25 for a tent site seems steep, however not ready to stay in hotels yet and just needed a place to crash.

We stayed here only because we have friends in the area AND the other campground in the vicinity got worse reviews. This was probably a nice campground once upon a time. But obviously the current owners don't care. They are just collecting the campground fees and not keeping up the property. Their website may list amenities, but don't believe them. The term "resort" is a misnomer. 90% of the sites are occupied by permanent residents, some sites were neat, some were junky.

I made the reservations over the phone to arrive on a Saturday. The fee of $40 per night is way overpriced for this place. When we arrived, the office was closed. I called the phone number on the door and got a recording. There was not an arrival packet waiting for us. I had to look up my confirmation email to see what site we were on. We never did see the park owners during the 48 hours we were there.

Access to the campground is pretty good, it's right off I-69. The road noise can be loud. Try to get a spot at the back of the property, it is a bit quieter there. Our site #13 was at the back and our door faced a field and had a tree. But we had to look at a dead tree and a junky seasonal site on the other side.

Our 50 amp power was good. Thank goodness, it was hot and we wanted the power for the A/Cs. Otherwise we probably would have found a Walmart. The utilities are oddly placed, but we made do. We didn't hook up to water or use the sewer.

The swimming pool is still empty and falling apart. The dump station had a pile of gravel placed in the middle of it. There was not way to get to it! The playground was overgrown with weeds.

Over the air TV signal was excellent, coming out of Fort Wayne. Verizon and ATT were both good. We didn't bother trying the campground WiFi.

So, stay here if you need a quick overnight or have a reason to be in the area. Beyond that, there is no compelling reason to stop

This was one of the only CG in the area that would accommodate our size of rig that had space and It seemed there was a change of ownership so decided to give it a chance. Tired campground in need of routine maintenance. In the two days we stayed we saw no employees. Our site was level and long enough for the trailer and truck but the grass was 6-8 tall on the site. The showers and bathroom were old but adequate. Laundry facilities also look tired and in need of updating. Half the dryers and washers worked. The section we stayed must have been for long term workers and was close to the freeway. There was a good deal of highway noise all the time. Trash was at the entrance to the park and was an eyesore. There are quite a few trailers that appear abandoned toward the back. Combine with the random piles of wood or rocks in various locations around the property and it gives a shabby appearance. There is also a pavilion I guess you would call it but looks like its used for storage. Next to it are the remains of an outdoor kitchen. Overall, it still needs a lot of work.

I stayed here for 1 month. Most of the park is for long term residents. There are many maintenance issues with the showers and bathroom area. The staff is friendly but the building always smells like pot. The water is sooooo rusty, even with a water filter it still looks rusty and leaves a film on my dishes. Forget the free Wi-Fi, you’ll almost never be able to use it. If you have t mobile, internet is hit or miss, and calls drop or the person on the other end wont be able to hear you. The laundry room is nice but half the appliances are out of service. I was here 2 weeks before someone told me we could fish from the pond in the field behind the park. Supposedly there are walking trails but I couldn’t identify them. I would not stay here again because of the rusty water, but otherwise if you just need a spot for a day or 2, it works.

Had reservation here 2 months prior to arrival with written confirmation. Showed up and they had no record but told us they refunded our $64 charge but it has not showed up on our side yet. Whole place is under construction. Didn’t stay. Maybe would be an ok place after construction but not now. Ugh!

This place looks relatively nice but some amenities may need a bit of TLC already. It's a nice RV park to stop for a night or two as they have full hookups, showers and laundry facilities but not much else. Also, it's fairly close to the highway and noise might be an issue for some.
