First time here and it’s spotless! Don’t expect any grassy areas for dogs as you are in New Mexico desert after all. But very nice clean dog parks. Level pads. Would definitely stay again. Even delivered their home cooked meals to your site. Gives you chocolate chips cookies at checkin.
Old park. Lots of full timers but very quiet. Ok for an overnight stay. Town of Bristow is pretty run down. Lots of green space to walk dogs though. Looks like they are doing some upgrades. Laundry room is an old trailer. Didn’t use it. Would pick a different park next time.
Nice park with lots of green open areas to walk dogs plus nice fenced dog park. Spaces are a little tight but doable with our 40’ class A with toad. Unfortunately not able to get satellite or decent internet due to all the trees. Staff was very nice. Laundry was good except access through office only which meant last load needed to go in by 3:30pm. Office closed at 5pm. About 25 minute drive to Paducah which has a neat downtown River walk. Most places closed on Sunday and Monday. All in all would stay here again.
Older park with nice grassy areas for dogs. Lots of kids/families on weekends. Some tight spots but we were in a Class A 40’ rig with toad. No satellite, very poor WiFi and couldn’t get cable to work either.
This is our 3rd time staying here over the past 5 years. All 3 times, all different spots, no satellite. The parks internet was not useable. Rained every time we’ve been here (first week of June) and our site is a muddy mess. For $70 a night, you’d think they would do some needed improvements. Unfortunately there is not many RV parks to pick from around here otherwise we would not keep staying here but location is great when visiting for us.
Stayed here 4 years ago and liked it. Just finished a 7 day stay in the new area and loved the peace and quiet and large spaces for our Class A. The weekends get pretty busy but Monday through Thursday we were the only ones there. Looks of grass for our dogs and convenient to everything Baraboo, Wisconsin Dells and the cool town of Sauk City. Would definitely stay again.
This place is stunning! Only 3 other campers here so very quiet and peaceful.
Absolutely loved this park! Nothing to do but enjoy the peace and quiet. Just what we wanted! Took a 5 minute drive up the road to Rosebud Casino. What a dump and very unfriendly staff. All the more reason to just hang at this camp and enjoy the beauty.
What a hidden gem! Called them last minute when the park in Julesburg was inadequate for our Class A. Owner was super nice and site was perfect (and on a working cattle ranch!). At checkin, owner gave us fresh chicken eggs. What a treat! Wish we were staying longer than one night.
We have stayed here 4 times over the last few years. Always a friendly staff here to check you in. Very clean park with ample room for our Class A with tow car. If you are a light sleeper, you may not like it as planes go overhead often along with trains going nearby, but this has not been a problem for us. I also appreciate the fenced in area to take my big dogs.
