Very cool place with a huge selection of daily pies, ice cream, and a few savory options. We saw empanadas, pot pie (or maybe it was Shepherd's Pie), and we tried the frito pie. We also tried the Key Lime Pie, which was probably the best I've ever had and Strawberry Rhubarb Pie. The staff was friendly and very helpful. Great stop.

What an awesome store! They had beautiful bugs and animals preserved and a sweet selection of plants. Head down the street to the kid version of the same name. Both places are fun and completely welcoming.

What a beautiful place in the middle of the city! Definitely worth a hike in the middle of a traffic field vacation!

This was the reason we came to the San Francisco area and was the highlight of our vacation!

So much fun - for everyone! Our 7 & 8 year olds had as much fun as the 50 something year old that came while we were there! We bought 4 potato sacks on Amazon for $10 and left 2 there. They are definitely the way to go!

One guy, whom I'm assuming was Alfonso was taking orders and cooking. We had a Banana and Nutella crepe, a Meat Lovers Omelette, a Breakfast Omelette, and my 8 y/o stuffed his face with a Monster Crepe. All of it was delicious! We've never had crepes, so we have nothing to compare it to, but they were light, thin, and a little crispy. They were all HUGE and somehow we cleaned our plates. With drinks the ppa was $10. The inside is small, but there is a lot of seating outside. You can watch "Alfonso" cook from your seat. If you are staying in the Oakland/Berkeley area, it's worth a visit

Turnips and drinks worth a stop

Our AirBnB host suggested this place. The turnips were excellent and worth the trip alone! The pizza had a great flavor, but was both too thin and too soggy. We prefer our pizza thin and crispy. Black bottom pizzas are our favorite! While this pizza had some black spots, you couldn't eat it without a fork and knife and we all know that's a soggy pizza! The drinks were on point and probably upped the stars by one on their own. The panna cotta was amazing - well the little I got. My 7 year old ate almost all of it in one bite. Also the atmosphere and staff were great! I didn't think they were at all pretentious. If you're in the area, definitely stop and then let me know if the soggy pizza was a fluke. The

We were there in August. One night we were in the observation park and the next night took a cruise on a Lone Star Boat. The boat is the way to go. Be sure that Kelly is the captain driving. She was so knowledgeable and appeared to genuinely love the bats and her city.

We purposefully planned to go for a snack w/ our kids on an awkwardly timed day. Got there about 7:30. We felt totally comfortable with kids until the bar crowd started coming, which is completely understandable. Everything we ordered was excellent. We will be back w/o kids for sure!
