This park is beautiful, right on a creek in a valley surrounded by natural wonders. We camped in one of the 4 pull-through sites in the front of the park, which was very nice and quiet for our crew with dogs. The other sites are right on the creek, but it was also more crowded on that side of the park. There is no cell service, but they provide free WiFi which was strong enough for me to Zoom and stream with. The staff was friendly, the park was spotless, and aside from the hairpin curves on the descent into the park, there was nothing remotely negative about our stay!
If you stay here, be sure to check out High Falls and Guntersville Lake nearby.

We pulled in to this park during a rainstorm, which was rough as the entire campground was full of red mud, which we then tracked into the camper. We originally tried to park in site 26, but we couldn't get our hose to reach the water supply without driving off the pad, so we moved to the next site over. The staff was kind and easy to work with in this regard. The park is overall nice and quiet, this being a winter weekend there were only a handful of other campers here and were pretty well spaced out.
The park itself could use some overall maintenance- the "nature trail" was overgrown with fallen wayfinding signs, the "wildlife overlooks" were full of empty bottles and trash - but the campground itself was clean.

This park is wonderful. Clean, quiet and right on the lake with a private beach. We were originally only planning to stay for 2 nights but were enjoying it so much we added a night! Walking around the lake was lovely, and the park was large and clean and easy to navigate. The only thing that could have made it better was sewage hookup, but there is a dump station and it was worth it for the lovely lakeside stay!
