There are numerous reviews of this parking lot, which is all it is, of good and bad experiences. They do have "truck" parking spaces. I checked at the front desk and they were very cautious with the words they used. You will likely be fine, but they are pretty clear that it is "truck parking" for Casino guests but they do not enforce the amount of time you are parked there. Basically hinting it would be ok, but we did not want a knock on the door at night and went five minutes west to City of Kalona Campground instead.

No complaints at all beyond it is really tough to level your rig east/west. The campground slopes from the highway out to the Northeast. There are blocks provided, but we didn't use them with our heavy motorhome. Wonderful owners provided great check-in experience and provided Jeeping materials for the local area. Located a little out of town but that is great. No complaints about highway noise. Self-service ice and fire wood, etc. An excellent attempt has been made at constructing the sites, they just need to work on getting them more level.

No AT&T service. T-Mobile and Verizon good. Adding speed test photos to the gallery here.

This campground is part of RV on the Go, Encore, Thousand Trails, etc. - we stayed here free because of our membership. See the blog post for more information.

The staff was amazingly helpful when we arrived and that was after hours. We had issues with site IV56 because the power plug had been damaged and we could not level a motorhome here. A 5ver would have no issues. They moved us to IV53 and that was great.

This campground is primarily a weekenders campground, this is not a quiet rustic campground. The "IV" (a/k/a Indian Village) area is prone to flooding and is open with very few trees. The wooded areas are for seasonals.

This campground is easy to get to from the interstate and is well position from Milwaukee and Madison. There are numerous tourist things to see and do in a 1 hour area from here.

Verizon worked well because it had reliable up and down speeds with low latency, but AT&T had better download speed and poorer upload speeds with higher jitter.

This is an easy on and off campground if you are traveling along 218. The campground is part of a larger city park complex including a water park. It is a little older park and could use a bit of sprucing up. The sites were level and in our 5th wheel we did not have to unhook to be basically level. For sure this would be a place for families to come in the summer given the water park access. (not included price)

This is a typical tourism area KOA experience situated in between all of the tourist things. It is tight but it is very well maintained by the cheery staff. The check in was really quick and they were super accommodating on finding a site our big rig would fit into. They understand their park has site issues and they are prepared to do what they can to eases this.

You need to trade off that this is a great place for the family to sleep and go out and enjoy the Smokey Mountain National Park (5 minutes away) or Dollywood (5 minutes the other way) and the strip or the Island (5 minutes in the other other way) in the area. The park has a great laundry, the typical tourism concierge in the office and a nice pool. They will deliver wood to your campsite for a fee.

Sites on the south 1/3 are in an expansion area and the trees will be good in about 15 years, right now there is no shade there at all.

WiFi in the park is great during the workweek because the park is mostly empty. Did not really have any issues the entire time trying to do work. 4G LTE on AT&T is also available and is strong only during the workday, evenings the towers in this area are overloaded.

Many of the campgrounds in the area are really just RV parking lots. While the spaces are still tight, there are still lots of trees and landscaping to make it feel more like a campground and not just RV parking. Number one complaint is that the neighboring site sewer was right next to our picnic table. Otherwise, it was a great stay and look forward to returning.

The $20/night is the up charge for an Encore premium park on the Thousand Trails Trails Collection membership.

If you are looking for an RV "resort" a place that will entertain you, then do not come here. If you are looking for a safe place to park your RV while you visit the sites around Knoxville, this is the place you want. About 40 minutes to Windrock OHV Park, about 50 minutes to Pigeon Forge, and 5 or 10 minutes to everything you need in an urban area. The sites are mostly level, or at least where you won't need more than a few blocks to level out. AT&T is beyond excellent for working during the day, Verizon ho-hum from time to time. Our number one complaint is the huge diagonal bump and ditch you have to cross to get in and out of the park, beware! The sites on the south side of the river are just parking spaces. Most of the sites North of the river are with grass between them, the width of the grass patch can mostly be measured in inches and not feet between rigs.

This is a great place for a stay just on the West side of the Big Horn moutains on US Highway 16 at about 4300' elevation. At first we were confused by the arrangement of the campers, they are long roads that you "parallel" park along, but NOT REALLY! The owner will guide you into an appropriate spot straiight on, just think of these really big pull-thrus. We were there SUN-WED so we were given a spot that we could easily get out of when we needed on WED morning. The bathrooms and showers are small but everything was very clean. The tables at the sites were clean, the utilities worked well, the roads are well maintained and the owner very nice.

Verizon was the best network here and was good for streaming. It would not have been a good network for trying to connect VPN to the office. 4G LTE: 9Mbps down, 0.4Mps up, 93ms ping.

AT&T was 4G only, no LTE.

This is a great place for parking in the middle of all of the city attractions, but you need to desire being in an urban environment. This is truly an "RV park" and not a "camping ground" feel. Located directly across from the central St. Louis police station this is a really noisy space. There is constant road noise as both the West and South sides of the park are major roads. The park is just a parking lot with services, but at the price and location it is a great place to be only minutes from the arch, zoo, Ikea, breweries, tons of dining and many other things St. Louis brings you. Diane will brief you when you check with the tourism recommendations of the area, pay attention because she has some great tips!

If you are coming in from the South on Jefferson you will need to make a 100+ degree turn onto Martin Luther King with a huge concrete barrier. Instead, continue North past the park and circle around on the road between the school and the North side of the park and then down the east side to pull into the gate. The gate is not on Jefferson, even though the address is on it.

Verizon is good for voice and data. AT&T was excellent, especially on a booster. Park WiFi is good, but there are only about 25% of the sites occupied at the moment. Water, electric and sewer at the sites. There is a decent store, laundry, restrooms, showers, pool and a small weight/fitness room.

The site map is very confusing, the person that true it must have been spatially challenged! We were in site 14, which is literally on top of site 16 (a tent site) and tight up against 15 and 13. We were originally in site 45, but that is just a bump-out on the driveway and not really a site. This is our third time here over the years and we keep coming back because it is right on the bay and it pretty easy to access compared to some of the other local options.
