Confirmed by 5 users | Last reported on October 05, 2022This is a hard review to do - we really enjoyed our time here and would go back again. But oh my goodness, it is SOOO noisy. I found this place (not sure how) after an exhaustive last-minute search for campgrounds in Moab for Fall Break 2020. I'm not kidding when I say it was the last campsite in Moab for the week we were going. There was no info on Campendium at the time and Google reviews only really spoke about their cabins. So we took a risk and it was worth it.
Pros:
- The nicest owners ever! And they are dog lovers (hence the name)
- Moab campground for a low price
- Only 6 sites, so it's fairly laid back
- Ice, firewood, laundry, propane, fresh tank fill, and dump station on site
- Well maintained with HUGE gravel sites
- Perfect if you're bringing ATVs and such to Moab
- Great for an overnight stop-off on the way to somewhere else, no need to unhook
Cons:
- The noise. You are right next to US Highway 191 and it is VERY busy with frequent semi trucks. It quiets down some at night, but not as much as you'd wish. You could hope to avoid some noise by hiding behind a neighboring RV if you book sites 4, 5, or 6, but I'm not even sure it would help much. Sites 1, 2, and 3 are the closest to the HWY.
- It's further south, so it's a bit of a drive into Moab and then even further to Arches and Canyonlands
- No bathhouse on-site, must be self-contained
Since our stay, I see the owners have made several nice upgrades to the campground and it is now more expensive ($35) than when we stayed (which is why I didn't input our nightly cost). In the end, this is still a good value for Moab prices and if you can stand constant traffic noise, definitely go! If you're looking for a relaxing trip, find a different place.

Needed to stay for a couple of nights and they only had overflow parking. Paid 10$ a night for that. There was also a place to fill water and dump. It is not the Taj Mahal but a good base camp for Moab. They had 6 spots with full hook ups. They do not have a bathhouse but the owners could not have been more nice.

No complaints at all beyond it is really tough to level your rig east/west. The campground slopes from the highway out to the Northeast. There are blocks provided, but we didn't use them with our heavy motorhome. Wonderful owners provided great check-in experience and provided Jeeping materials for the local area. Located a little out of town but that is great. No complaints about highway noise. Self-service ice and fire wood, etc. An excellent attempt has been made at constructing the sites, they just need to work on getting them more level.
No AT&T service. T-Mobile and Verizon good. Adding speed test photos to the gallery here.

If you like quiet and laidback then this is your campground. Small, several really cute cabins and six campsites. Honor system for laundry at $1 a complete load including soap! What?! Honor system for ice and wood which are plentiful. They also have propane and a dump, even though the campsites are full hookups. They even give you bright yellow chocks to borrow for your stay. Everything was clean and neat. It was a great place to make our homebase while seeing Arches, Dead Horse, Canyonlands and so much more!

When everything else in Moab is between $60-$100, it’s worth it to go a little further south! Staff was incredibly friendly and helpful - some of the best we’ve met. Laundry room is super clean and tidy, soap included, honor system for payment of $1.00 per load. They have a little take a book leave a book/watch a movie leave a movie shelf as well as some coloring books and crayons for kids. No guest bathrooms or showers.
The park rents little cabins and only has 6 RV spots. They are all pull through, full hook up. Definitely not level. Owner knows this and has provided leveling components at each site. Very difficult to get wifi in sites 3 or 4.

Stayed here three different times during our extended visit to Moab in Nov 2021. Great place in between stints boondocking on BLM land. Owners are attentive, super helpful and they are willing to share their extensive knowledge of the area. Sites are not perfectly level and the road is next door, but you cannot beat the price for full hook ups, $1 laundry (super clean) and propane on site. 8 miles from the center of Moab.

Price reflects dry camping.
Nice clean gravel spots, easy access off the highway, big rigs are fine. Small place with just 6 hookup sites and 3 - 70' pull thru dry sites. A somewhat industrial setting, but as others have pointed out, a great affordable alternative to nearby Moab.
