We were able to book her last minutes after, getting campground catfished at another location. This please is fairly new but has a lot of potential. The bath house is nice and sites are good and level, with great all in one lighted pedestals. Hopefully they will continue to add on amenities (mainly laundry & playground), but we would definitely stay here again, with great access off I-95 great stop to break up a trip north or south!

Overall this park is beautiful as far as the layout and landscape of the area. Its proximity to towns and city are nice but far enough away you dont get any of the noise or traffic. Roads getting to the park weren't bad other than one low bridge in town, but the roads in the park are HORRIBLY WASHED OUT. The park amities themselves needs some work, like with most thousands trails the potential is there but they aren't doing quite enough to keep up with them. The roads are bad enough that I recommend parking and walking the park to find your spot before making your way to it. The playground at the park was nice and the kids enjoyed it but during the summer I could see where this won't get used at all because its in direct sunlight with no shade at all.

The spots are fairly level, with 50Amp spots needing to be unlocked with a $3 per night charge. Our water pressure was great with no issues but or neighbor said they had very little water pressure. If you are visiting during the cooler months I would recommend using the 30Amp spots in A Loop to get a better view as all the 50Amp spots are in a middle row. Although all of them being in the middle row a the top of the loop does keep you from having to make your way through the washed out roads.

The area has very little cell service but good enough to get by, while the park offers a lot of tree coverage for the sites this may effect your ability to get cellular networks or starlink to connect well. The four bars of AT&T we were getting was with a directional antenna. The bath house was just "okay" in my opinion. It was good enough to use when needing to but far from the cleanest or nicest thousand trails has.

Green Mountain Park is a great park if you are looking to get outdoors and have a more old school camping experience. They have a lot of amenities to offer, some of witch need a little TLC (tender love and care), but plenty to do. With miles of hiking trails, large fishing ponds, putt putt, play ground, pools and more, there is plenty to do for all ages. The bath house at the back of the park wasn't the best but the one in the main common hall was really nice and well kept. The Common hall is a great meeting place available to all and boast a large laundry facility with plenty of washers and dryers to get your laundry and quickly. We also loved this parks location with quick easy access to a lot of local attractions in the area. We visited Asheville, DuPont Forrest, Hickory, Blowing Rock, and Blue Ridge Parkway while here. Blowing Rock was a short ride with a lot of locally owned and operated places to eat, drink, and shop. Cellular is 1 to 2 bars at best and Cellular internet is best achieved with a directional antenna, we still ended up paying for a month of the WiFi service since we work from our camper. Lastly, water pressure at this park is very high so make sure you have a regulator.... would prefer being high over it barely coming out though!

This campground was a great getaway for a quick weekend trip or extended stay.

Verizon cell service was good
Campground WiFi was excellent
Staff was excellent and attentive
Wife enjoyed womens bible study held on common area
Sites are well prepped
Most of the sites are well shaded by pine trees
Sites are pull through/ big rig ready
Close to statesboro and savannah
Right off I-16 so a little noisy but that didn’t bother us while sleeping.

Where is Mebane NC? That's what we were wondering when we booked her but it was a great experience. This little town is beautiful and I spills over into this campground. Its close enough to everything but far enough away tucked in the hills that it is super quiet. The grounds themselves are well laid out, roads wide enough for big rigs and spots large enough for our 44' 5th wheel with back porch down and truck parked in front. See the video tab above for a better overview of the campground!

Thousand Trails PA Dutch Country is a great campground, close enough to lots of US & State history while still being far enough out to be nice and peaceful.

The campgrounds location makes day trips to local attractions easy and convenient, with both National Parks, State Parks & theme parks all close by.

The campground roads and spots were all well maintained, level and made for easy set up. For larger rigs the road are a little narrow but still passable for our 44 foot 5th wheel pulled by a long bed crew cab dully.

The F loop bath house was closed and had been for some time. The store was open while we were there but was still working on getting stocked for the season. It was great to have a store with come convenience items that may have been forgotten, they also had a concession stand run by a 3rd party with dinner foods and ice cream. We enjoyed this on checkin day, allowing us more time to enjoy the campground rather than having to cook that night. The pool was currently being prepped to open for the season, but looked really nice and enjoyable with a great water feature for the little ones.

During our stay we used a cellular router and had a good experience doing so with AT&T SIM card. I feel like starlink here would have been hit or miss depending on your site and campground wifi comes at a cost per day, week or month.

We did find out site a little tight for a larger camper and a little short for one as long as ours needing to park a vehicle in front. Even got asked one day to put our truck in overflow, which was a little crazy being it was our only vehicle. They stay strict to the rules which is fine since we follow the rule .... for the most part but somethings could be bent a little in certain situations, IMO.

Overall a great campground we would definitely go back to. Thank you.
