Confirmed by 4 users | Last reported on November 11, 2023There aren't a lot of really solid full hook-up RV parks near Raleigh -- but after a lot of looking, we came across this one in the cute little town of Mebane. The owners are great, the place is super clean and well kept. The first row of spots has no trees, in the second row, half the spaces have trees and in the third and 4th row, all have trees. The outside circle of spots also has trees. We loved it here and will definitely visit again when we need a full hook-up campground. The sites are gravel and very level (we didn't need any leveling blocks), the internet was great and we got a ton of stations just from the antenna.

Our camping preferences tend to be toward state and national parks, but if you're looking for a nice place near Durham, this one's a winner. The park is just 2 years old, and the owners are committed to making it the best it can be. Full hook-ups on every site, a comfy community room, and what my husband describes as the most beautiful bathroom ever. Their caretaker, Jim, was very helpful when we were trying to figure out a problem. The only reason I gave the site quality 4 stars is because they're close together, with no privacy. Our nightly rate was with Good Sam's discount.

New campground. Minimal amenities like pool etc. Best internet of any park and it was full while we were there. Very friendly owners. He called me about 2PM to see if I was still coming and to give me information about late check in. Then he made sure he stayed to welcome us anyway.
Electric is well maintained, water has good pressure. Showers are clean and look like a better golf club locker room.
Roads and sites are gravel. Well leveled. Entrance road has some rough rippling. Just needs some box-blading.
Although the park was almost full, it is very quite.

Greeted with a welcome and a smile. This is such a clean and level campground. We so enjoyed the shady site giving us a feeling being in the woods. We would definitely stay here again!

We only spent a night here and it was fine. Check-in was easy, and the host was personable. Interior roads and sites are gravel – pretty thick in some places. The interior roads are tight for larger rigs towing but doable. We had to do some fancy footwork to get into our site without unhooking the tow. It is predominately long term and/or seasonal. All sites are neat and tidy though. Most sites are surrounded by trees but there are a few that have more sun. All sites looked close to level if not spot on level. There is decent spacing with some better than others. We had trees between us and the next site. Directv locked on but there was lots of interference to the point that we just stopped watching. We could not get WII FI in our site. Verizon was 4g 3 bars so we used our hotspot. It was quiet at night, and we would stay here again.

A very nice campground that accommodates all size units. Gravel roads and campsites. Some satellite friendly; others with shade. Ample site width. Decent WiFi

Stayed one night to visit relatives in Chapel Hill. Check-in was easy, no interaction as they left envelope with camp site packet out front. Park has a lot of long-term residents, but is kept well maintained. Some of the sites are not designed well as the back-in spots had most of the hook-ups toward the front of lot which requires extra hoses/power cord to reach. Location worked ok for one night.

Wow!! We have been full-time camping for the last year, and this is the nicest campground we have stayed at in over 20 states. It is very well kept, and they had pretty good wifi (again, the best we have experienced). The map was a little unclear as we were going to our site, but one of the residents lead us to our site. As another reviewer wrote, the hook-ups are more towards the front of the site, but it wasn't an issue. Site 32 even had a nice 2-person swing at it so you can relax in the evening in front of the fire pit. It was very nice.

We stayed here one night one our way to the beach and were very impressed. On the way there we were called and told where to pickup our registration/info packet and directions to our site. This is one of the most beautifully landscaped parks we have stayed at. We had a mixture of trees at our site (most are like this) which was level gravel. My impression is that most sites are occupied by seasonal campers which consist of large newer rigs and both retirees and the working class. Their sites are beautifully decorated. The people were friendly. For those who like to party, this park is not for you. No public display of alcohol is allowed and no alcohol allowed off your site. This is a quiet park that caters more to couples with pets or with small kids who are easily entertained. We would stay again.
