This is a very nice campground. Large level sites and most are shaded with mature trees. There are patches of lawn in between each site. The WIFI here is fast and the signal is strong. We will definitely come back if we are in the area gain. The only minor ding is that you must drive 1 mile on a gravel road to get to the campground. The road (as of 8/9/2022) is level and well groomed. There were no ruts or potholes. Once the state of ND paves the access road, this will be an awesome place.

The campground is very close to Theodore Roosevelt NP entrance and the town of Medora. However, the camp itself is so-so... the sites are very close together - feels like you are at a tail gate party. Most of the sites don't have shades and it can get HOT here in the summer time. Also, the camp roads and sites are unpaved dirt/gravel road/pads.

Mediocre KOA, I would avoid this place. Dusty dirt/gravel road. The back in sites are tight with the power & water on the wrong side. These sites were made for tents rather than for RVs. My site #53 was overgrown. When I backed my RV in - the trees/brushes scraped the sides of my RV and my solar panels on top. I asked to be transfer to another site, but all the other back in sites were also overgrown. I finally asked them to loan me a pair of hedge trimmers and I climbed on top of my RV to trim all the overgrown branches and the brushes on both sides. After driving all day, I had to prune all the trees and brushes so my RV don't get all scraped up. Thanks, Great Falls KOA.

Fantastic place for family fun... my wife loves crabbing here. The people who run this place are awesome. I want to thank Shirley for helping me find a site for my RV. She was awesome and went out of her way to make sure we had a nice camp site. I can only give this place 4 stars for now, but a couple of improvements would make it a 5 star place. If you are an RV'er, there's NO DUMP station here. Also, please PAVE the road to the upper loop camp sites. It's full of holes and ruts.

There is no lake! It's all dried up. Primitive dirt site. Very dry, windy, and HOT. Avoid in the summer time. The only plus side is it's really cheap... $8 per night to park your RV there.

Very nice place! This is one of the best RV Resort that I have ever stayed at. Beautifully flat sites with lawn on both sides and wide paved roads. I will definitely come back again.

We stayed at this campground twice. We love it here. Very close to Badlands NP, and we get 4 bars on Verizon cell service. Sites are level and shaded.

Stay away from this campground. Horribly un-level sites, lots of mosquitos, dusty gravel road, and limited cell signal. No hookups. Plus, they charge you an additional $7 just to enter the campground - even though you already paid for a campsite.

Very nice contemporary hotel. We love the interior design and the GYM.

Boondocking sites near the coast. Great fishing and crabbing location. The weather there gets chilly and windy. All the sites are primitive gravel, no showers, no real bathrooms - just Porta-Johns. No WIFI (except near the general store), cell signal (Verizon) is 1-2 bars, data is very weak. We stayed there in a Class C RV primarily to escape the CA heat and to do some fishing and crabbing.
