Loved this idyllic campsite by a rushing brook but heard I only landed the site because the people before me left early. Otherwise typically fully booked around July 4th week. Beautiful area but it is ATV country and probably not the best for hikes.
Clean facilities and worth the higher price than other sites to fit in a hot shower in the middle of a road trip.
A wonderful place to rest and rejuvenate on a long road trip. Well-tended campgrounds and unique geological features by the river. Short little hikes. I lay down on a rock and relaxed in the 3” of water that overflowed from the river.
Worst tent site ever. Maybe ok for RVs. A sudden rainstorm turned it into an ankle deep mud pit in 10 minutes. The only decent place to put a tent is under a tree with a big dead branch above it. Not worth $39 for “rustic” when I might as well have found a motel. Been to more rustic and incredible campgrounds for $15-25 that include running water.
