Pretty bad. I was there less than 15 minutes. It's clean, nice and well located, but there is nothing but news articles pasted on the walls. Very, very boring.
I love history and the guide was excellent. I was the only person and it's likely not busy through the week. However, the historical aspect was not too impressive. A large house for the late 1800's with some excellent rare furniture, but not much of a story behind it.
I've never approved of glorifying criminals. The tunnel is neat to walk through and the small museum might interest a few. I did it all in 15 minutes.
Just a small town, nothing to see.
If in the area, it's worth a look.
Small dual musuem with minerals on one side and Joplin on the other. It's worth the 1 to 2 hour visit and it was only $3.
It's worth a drive-by since this is a main entrance of Oral Roberts University.
It's a junkyard. A good leg stretch maybe, but watch your step and don't go in the buildings, they look very unsafe.
Only drive by if you are going through town.
Great history and location. The drive in and out is worth it alone. I was the only one there as it was closed due to Covid. There were a few cars there, most likely office workers. The visitor center looks like it would be awesome. I spent about 90 minutes walking the entire grounds, reading everything. I doubt kids would like this much but history buffs and scenic lovers, most definitely.
