“you know what they say about big hands...”
A 60 ft, 30 ton bronze sculpture called the Praying Hands, by sculptor Leonard McMurray (cast in Ciudad Juárez, Mexico in 1980) was moved to the ORU campus entrance in the summer of 1991. It was originally located in front of the CityPlex towers, a commercial office space. Perfect for a photo op!
This is in Tulsa, not Jenks. Street address is correct but wrong city and navigate took us to a stadium.
This is a beautiful site! Very glad we stopped here!
Wow! Awesome! Now my kids want to go to the University here. Thanks Roadtripper!
This was really cool glad it’s on this site.
We made a very quick stop here to take some pictures! It was a fun stop!
Wrong address. Needs to be corrected to Tulsa as the city.
It's worth a drive-by since this is a main entrance of Oral Roberts University.
feckweed405 Mix early airport architecture with an evangelical university and you get the vibe of this area. Well worth a visit if you are passing through!
So much bigger in person. Super great! Well worth it. Easy to find. Right on the main road.
We found World's Largest Praying hands on Roadtrippers and decided to visit when in Tulsa. It is worth the stop if in the area. The Oral Roberts University campus that it's located on is nice and picturesque.
