Arrived Dec 1 and stayed in site 32. Sites are well spaced. Pads are concrete and level. Utilities worked well. Beach is an easy walk away. Area was clean and well maintained. Camp host was friendly and helpful. During our visit, the mosquitoes abundant, and we could not comfortably sit outside. We used Ranger Ready 20% picaridan all over, but the mosquitoes were constantly swarming around our face, ears, and hands. Bright lights from dock lit up the river at night, so it is not really a dark skies place. Restrooms were closed for renovation, and they provided porta-potties and showers in a trailer. Overall, we enjoyed our stay, and we will be better prepared for our next visit.

Site was full hookup. Staff was friendly and professional. Well maintained facility. Easy in and out. AT&T cell service was barely there, if you stand at just the right spot. TXPW-Public WiFi available at bathhouse, and was usable in site 13.

Booked online. Staff is friendly and professional. Thanks Laura for the curbside checkin. Bathhouse was clean and in great shape. Facility is clean and well maintained. There is road noise from I-8 and Butterfield Trail (Phoenix Bypass, business I-8). You will also hear the the industrial plant across the highway. There is a bright site lite atop the pedestal, and the plant has bright lights. The dog park is excellent. We will return.

In a small pull thru site 59,. Stayed two nites. Facility is clean and well maintained. Our site needs a bit of gravel, as some appears to have moved due to recent heavy rains. Bathrooms are clean. Lovely park to walk around. Lots of activities. Great place to walk our dog. Will return.

Stayed for two nites in March. Staff worked with us to get the he site we wanted. Easy check in. Lighting is reasonable. Campers were fishing using waders right off the park. Utilities were in good shape, facility clean and well maintained, and restrooms were clean. Nice pool that was well used. The park had an excellent tamales truck come thru Saturday morning, and it was excellent. As of May 18, 2024, this park is no longer a KOA. This facility is "FireFly Coastal Bend", https://firefly-resorts.com, selling RV spaces starting at $99,900.
