This is a trailer park with a few spots for overnighters. All sites are back in and adequate for our small trailer. Well maintained with nice shade trees, good wifi and cell signal. Very informal reservations. You must call in advance and they will let you know availability.. Nice laundry room but no bathroom so plan accordingly. A bit off the highway so the road noise muted. A pretty loud train comes thru a couple times a night but that does not bother us. A 1 mile path has been cut thru the field behind the park which is nice to see the sunset. Lubbock proper is about 15 minutes away. The little town has a small grocery store and a Sonic but not much else.
It did the trick for us for an overnight.

As previous reviewers commented, this park is in development but should be quite nice when complete. 22 big sites, most are FHU with good working utilities. No bathroom yet but working on it. Very easy on and off with some road noise but not terrible. Away from city lights so stars abound! Gorgeous sunsets. Owner very smart to have an on line booking website. Nice dog park with its own fire hydrant 👍. Because it is about 15 min from Moriarty, a small supply store would be nice. Definitely on the will return list.

Been to a lot of RV parks. This one seems to have a the strictest cancellation policy. This is my bad as I just assumed it was like most parks. Not ! Have not stayed there yet but in these trying times just know you will pay big if you have to cancel. Again , should have read entire information.

Start with the positives.....This is a very well run park in a beautiful setting. Nice sites with adequate space. A perfect park for families. The staff is continually cleaning the laundry and bathrooms and wear masks. Manressa Beach is beautiful and a 30 minute walk or short drive. 20 minutes to Santa Cruz and 40 to Monterey.
On the not so good side is the cost In addition to the $120 daily rate are resort fees (most of the resort amenities for kids were closed). For that money, you would hope to get decent wifi ( useless) Would we return? Maybe

Start with the positives......well managed, nice professional staff, good wifi, good cell service, great bike paths to Avila Beach (about 2 miles), beautiful park like setting. Very nice pool and playground for the youngsters. Well stocked store (very pricey) Even with close quarters, it was reasonably quiet.
The not so good: this KOA has packed as many sardines as they could into this small park. For 90 bucks, you get a postage size site with your neighbors as close as you can get without getting married. For $120+ bucks, you get a bigger site, but since these are reserved for the bigger rigs, the result is the same. If you are staying one night and not want to unhitch, think again.
Bathroom, showers were ok but my spouse tells me the washing machine gaskets were very dirty.
When you pay this much, expectations are raised. Most KOA do meet our expectations but not this one.

Spotless bathrooms with great showers bigger than most hotels. Very level pull through with modern hook ups. Great cable TV with over 30 Channels. Wi Fi not good for streaming but ok otherwise. Friendly staff. One bonus was elliptical and treadmill with some weights. Nice pool but still winter so w didn't use. Overall, a bit pricey but very nice.

A change in plans brought us to this park. Small park ( about 20 sites) but large fhu sites. Grounds are well maintained and the bathroom/ laundry immaculate. The wifi even worked but did slow down in the eve. Town is about a 10 min walk. Apparently this town went under in 2008 but started a quilting industry which has given it quite a boost. Ate a delicious bfast at Eggo's. All in all, an unexpected gem!

Best features are the shade in the summer and the great deal on ice. A fair number of long termers working for Blue Origin. Very quiet. Wifi no good.

Nice basic campground. Level sites and decent showers. Wi-Fi spotty at best. Had bfast and dinner at Cafe. Great food at reasonable price. There's a 1.6 mile 'trail' that passes a dump site (note to park, clean that up please). However, the pet cemetery near the end of the trail worth the walk. Overall, a nice place to overnight with the cafe a big bonus. Note: Heading west from I20 we decided to take a back road (1053) South to Fort Stockton. We have officially labeled it 'the ugliest road in America'.

Easy access from I80, big shade trees, good hook ups, clean bathrooms with hot showers. Good cell reception and within a mile of the nice little town of Gothenburg. What more does an over nighter need? This is a little gem of a park that is only going to get better.
