Best shower and laundry facilities I've encountered. Easy highway access and friendly staff. Gravel pads in a wide open field, but that's the nature of North Texas. Excellent hookups and wifi.

Usually stay at nearby state park, but it was full. Decided to try based on reviews. It is a great spot. Truly a desert oasis. Cacti everywhere. Road is fine for small rigs. Just keep it our secret!

Dirt road access, but well graded and flat. Probably two dozen or so easy access sites. Some ATVs during the day, but quiet at night. Mostly pine-covered. Decent Verizon coverage.

This KOA is very nice. Most sites are in trees. Showers were clean. Staff very nice and plenty of them. Plenty of Verizon bars, but campground also has wifi. It's busy, but just off HWY 40 & 66, so to be expected. Power connections at most sites, cable at premium sites. Better than other RV parks in the area. Some sites require leveling blocks, so bring them.

Very nice campground in the pines. Everything from tent to pull-throughs available. If you are an RV, be sure to take the RV route to the North entrance...off 119. Google maps took us off the 25 through Coal Canyon. Some of the grades were tough for my Promaster van, but we made it. About 3 miles of well graded dirt road too. Elevation is about 9,100. Zero cell service.

Stayed for 1 very warm evening. 30 amp and A/C did the trick! Nice lake, but rocky coastline makes access tricky. Clean bathrooms and showers. Bring your leveling blocks - most sites near the water are sloped.

Wonderful location to take an overnight or longer. Close to highway, but landscape and view compensates. Sites nicely spaced, paved and mostly level. Make sure to bring plenty of water.

Nice primitive campground just off highway. Washboard dirt road access, but not bad. Access hiking & biking trails.

We got lucky to reserve last minute a weekday in late October. Awesome campground. Immaculate. Host greeted us and showed us to our huge site. Sunset was gorgeous. You'll want to stay another night. Lots of trails that leashed dogs can come on too. I imagine it's pretty toasty in summer.

South of Moab town, but much quieter and awesome views. Don't be discouraged by some RVs on the driveway, the spots after the office are the real location. Furnished tents and trailers are also available for rental. Clean showers and friendly staff/owners. Free WiFi too!
