Access was pretty easy and we snagged one of the last spots here. The road was a bit bumpy at the start as you go up a hill, but we made it up without a problem. It may be more difficult if arriving after our during a storm. There is green grass, plenty of trees and if you go all the way to the end of the road you'll reach the creek (in this season it was more like a raging river) and there were a few truck campers and tents on its banks. We were visited once by since rangers who reminded us of bear safety protocols, but we didn't see any bears in our stay.

It was a great hub to explore Yellowstone, just 20 minutes from the park entrance. But make sure to check the traffic cams on the national parks website, since the line to go in the west entrance can be backed up all the way through town sometimes.

The road in was pretty easy, just make sure to come in through CR-2461. We arrived from the North and Google maps sent us down CR-2474, which led us to a closed gate and no place to turn around. We had to back out a narrow road and had 5 minutes further south - you'll see the signs for Black Creek Lake. The sites were clean and there were fire pits at many - plenty of trees for shade and sun for solar.

We didn't get to explore the area much, but we'd love to come back and try.

This is a nice, wooded campground, right on between a graveyard and a supermarket. It doesn't sound attractive, but despite being close to the road, it was quiet and we really enjoyed it.

There are some tight turns in the loop because of the trees, but we had no problem navigating with our 36 ft TT. There are shady spots (like ours, 8) or sunny ones and all are first come first served without any hookups. You can run your generator if you need until 10pm and we found that quiet hours were respected. Self check in was easy and the camp host was nice and helpful. There are 2 potable water spickets, one by the dump station and one across from site 5.

We enjoyed the close proximity to the playground with splash pad, the supermarket, and the visitor center (which hosts the farmers market every Thursday in the summer), all within a minute's walk. Also, every morning and evening we were visited by several local bunnies who frequent the area.

During our stay others came and went, but the campground never filled. There's plenty to see in the area, like Kootenai Falls and the swinging bridge and a lot more. There was also a great laundromat (the Dirty Rooster) down the road open 24 hours.

Easy access from highway. We didn't go too far in, just enough so we couldn't see the road. There was not much noise at night and the road was wide enough to turn around with our 36 ft TT. We didn't explore the area, just stopped overnight on our way to Lake Mead. It probably would have been nicer to stay at the rest stop just north of Tonopah, but we needed groceries and propane, which were only a few minutes up the road.

Very friendly host and the bathrooms and showers are great. There is potable water and a dump station for RVs. No hookups, but they allow generators during the day. You can make your reservation online.

Also, the nature/bike trails are great for exploring the area and all the horses were a great attraction for the kids

We had a great, quiet stay, even with the snow and cold weather. It is only 30 minutes from White Sands NP and the views of the mountains are great (especially the sunset). You can dump for free at the fairgrounds or visitor center in Alamogordo (about a 20 minute drive), but I couldn't find a place to fill water for free. KOA charges $5 to fill and dump, so that wasn't bad. There was not much to do in Alamogordo, as almost all the museums are closed for Covid-19.

We called ahead to confirm that they allow overnight parking. There were only 3 RV spots and we got the last one when we arrived around 8pm on a Wednesday. We had a quick dinner and were out of there in the morning, but it was pretty quiet at night despite being right off the freeway.

This was a perfect overnight stop for us on I-10. The RV area is across the street from the truck area, which was nice, and was about half full by the end of the night. The lot was very level side to side but we needed to jack up the front of the trailer a bunch to be level. There is a good amount of highway noise, but it didn't really bother us. Also, make sure to check out the exhibits inside. There are great activities for kids and a short, fun movie about the area.

The dump is located behind the store with easy access for any size rig. They have a potable water spicket right next to the dump as well.

Once you get off sheep ridge road, it gets a bit rough, but we were able to get by and turn around with our 36 ft trailer. We found a big spot (46) for multiple rigs and really enjoyed our stay. It was quiet and the sunsets were spectacular. We did have a few windy days, so be ready for that. Access to both sides of Zion was easy from here, as well as Red Cliffs Recreation Area in Hurricane.

Oh, and full 5G ATT coverage all the time was nice.
