The site was a little bit unlevel, had to use 2-inch levelers. Pine Loops has more trees, more shaded and sites are more spaced out. The bathroom building is nice, it is a newer bathroom with 6 unisex showers. The Woodstock loop is more open. We did not check the bathroom at this loop. The CG has a nice foot path thru the loops. There is a barrier-free path just outside the CG, which leads to the beach, about .6 miles. Good for biking or walking. This is nice campground if you want to visit Holland, MI. But I expect, it gets very busy on the weekends.

This state park is ‘dry’. No alcohol allowed.

This is a nice campground near town. The staff is very friendly, the CG is clean and tidy, the bathroom is clean. It has a small lake and a path around it. If you want to walk further, the path extends around the perimeter of the campground. Good for walking and jogging. There are chairs overlooking the lake, which is very inviting for a relaxing afternoon.
We got a full hook-up site and the hook-ups are conveniently spaced.
Overall, this is a very nice campground.

Conveniently located near downtown Bardstown and distilleries. There is small playground. Full hook-up. More than half the sites are pull-thru, which is nice. Sites are gravel and fairly long. It can easily accommodate big rigs and tow vehicles. The picnic tables are newer, plastic and clean. There are long-term campers but they are located at the back outer loop.
Some sites are partly-shaded, others are full sun. We were 'escorted' to our site.

There is no sign for the campground on the main road after getting off I-44. And the small street sign was blocked by a tree, so we missed it. The road to the campground is rough, thankfully, it is short road.
Third, the 'RV resort' in the name is a misnomer, despite the fancy name. This is no resort, but a small, basic campground. No amenities, we saw only 1 site that had a fire ring. And worse, several sites, including ours, did not have a table.

The sites are level but small, there is narrow strip of grass between sites. However, our site was long enough to fit both trailer and truck without having to park the truck across. But we saw 1 site where the awning of the trailer almost touches the trailer at the next site. Most of the sites seem to be occupied by seasonal or long-term campers.

The bathroom is closed due to the 'crisis', I assume that is due to Covid. 1 review from about 2 months ago, said it was under renovation. Another review from 2 years also said, it's under renovation. How long does it take to renovate the bathroom?

There are at least 3 old trailers in disrepair parked around the house/office.
On the positive side, the 2 dead trees that were referred to in earlier reviews have been cut down. At least that hazard is gone.

This is a basic, no-frills RV park. If you are looking for a full hook-up 1-nighter, quick-off-on the interstate, this might work for you. Otherwise, go somewhere else.

A small 60-site CG, but well maintained. The sites are paved, there is fire pit, charcoal grill, lamp (or garbage) post, concrete picnic table and a separate cooking table. The site is clean, the fire pit cleaned-out and the pea gravel is even raked! Most of the sites are partly shaded, but all are well-spaced.
Some of the sites share the driveway which splits into to 2 sites, good for families camping together.
This is a nice, quiet CG. We will come back here when we are in the Nashville area

A large state park and with 3 campground areas, A, B and C. We stayed at C. The sites are big, paved and well spaced out. You wont feel crowded here There are a couple of spickets in the campground where your can fill your water tank. During our stay there, the place was almost full. Families and friends camped together. It was nice to see them play together. Lots of children with bikes. The CG has clean bathroom with showers.
However, there is no path to the bathroom which is located at the center of the campground, so those at the outer loop sites tend to walk thru the inner loop sites to go the bathroom. Another issue is some of the paved strips are narrow, so vehicles drive in the grass when backing in. With the lots of rain recently, the edge of the pad is muddy.

We stayed at Woodside campground. This is a newer campground, so trees are small. The campground, especially the sites are well-thought out. The sites are paved, even the side area where you step off your rig is also paved. No need for a mat. The sites are long, our truck and rig fit with lots of space to spare. There is a fire ring and a table. This is a full-hook-up campground. All the hook-ups are spaced appropriately. We did not have to use any extensions.
We did not get a chance to explore the park. But we did hike 1 trail, which could have been marked better.

We came here right after picking up our new rig from nearby dealer. Very convenient place to try out our new rig. When we came, we were instructed to pick out our spot (the lady marked on the map which ones are available) then register later. They are open till 10pm!

Overall, this campground is very nice. Better priced also, compared to other FHU campgrounds.
