Confirmed by 2 users | Last reported on June 03, 2021This place is called “Lamplight Lane RV Resort at Glen Oaks” now. Pretty Easy in and out, just off of I-44, On Hwy 17 (Historic Route 66).
We did not have any issues with road noise from the interstate.
They offer free wifi. Also, the cell coverage is great, a Cell tower is nearby.
Lots of food options within 3-7 miles of the RV park.
There were a couple of large potholes near the entrance by the office of the park.
I didn’t use any of the facilities so I can not review that part.
Owners are very friendly.

Very nice little park. Owners very accommodating. Not good for big rigs but perfect for 35 and smaller. Clean. Quite. Highly recommend.

I don't like to tear a place down, but the other two reviews are difficult to understand. This place seems nothing like what they described. Here's the scoop as I found it: (1) Easy on/off Rt 44.(2) 3 bars US Cellular, 3 bars Verizon. Data on Verizon is OK. (3) Road in to and around the park is VERY rough and uneven - Major earthquake for the rig. (4) Water is good, 60 PSI town water. (5) 50A service is VERY LOW VOLTAGE: 110 no load, 108 @ 30A draw. Barely enough to keep the AC working. (6) NO Amenities. Period. Laundry is 2x2 with one broken washer, tiny tiny little room with no space to work. (7) Buildings look horrible. Campground looks awful. I've been to many, many run down Rv Parks, but this is among the worst. (8) Owner greeted us at the entrance, was very polite and reasonable. BUT...I'm 34ft with toad, and there was not enough length in the one and only relatively long pull-through for the toad to stay connected. I pulled ahead enough to get the toad out of the driveway, and then was way off level ground. Without blocks for the levelers, I would not have been able to stay here without disconnecting the toad...and nowhere to put it!!! (9) It usually shows if new owners are trying to improve the place; I did not see that here at all. The website does not do well at showing what this place is really like. Looks much better than it is.
Use your judgement if you want to overnight here. Now you know what's really here for you to use.

Sorry to have to update, but this is serious: With all the confusion of getting into my site last night, I did not notice the 2 very dead trees, one on each side of my site. Then the storm warning came on my phone, and I did an inspection to see what my hazards were. Yipes! but, there was nothing I could do. No other 50A service in any open site (did I mention the heat index was 103 f). We were lucky, and the big storms missed us that night.
I write this update to my review because of the owner's reaction to my comment about the trees. It was not constructive, and he did not seem to understand the danger he's putting us and our very expensive rigs in. This is my home. A tree top / large branch through the roof would be a major disaster.
Bottom line? these folks may seem friendly, but there's a serious problem here with their willingness to put us and our gear at risk. The owner acknowledged that these and several other trees have been dead a long time; yet he's done nothing about it. I can't accept that. I hope you are careful about where in this little park he puts you; Check your tree exposure.

There is no sign for the campground on the main road after getting off I-44. And the small street sign was blocked by a tree, so we missed it. The road to the campground is rough, thankfully, it is short road.
Third, the 'RV resort' in the name is a misnomer, despite the fancy name. This is no resort, but a small, basic campground. No amenities, we saw only 1 site that had a fire ring. And worse, several sites, including ours, did not have a table.
The sites are level but small, there is narrow strip of grass between sites. However, our site was long enough to fit both trailer and truck without having to park the truck across. But we saw 1 site where the awning of the trailer almost touches the trailer at the next site. Most of the sites seem to be occupied by seasonal or long-term campers.
The bathroom is closed due to the 'crisis', I assume that is due to Covid. 1 review from about 2 months ago, said it was under renovation. Another review from 2 years also said, it's under renovation. How long does it take to renovate the bathroom?
There are at least 3 old trailers in disrepair parked around the house/office.
On the positive side, the 2 dead trees that were referred to in earlier reviews have been cut down. At least that hazard is gone.
This is a basic, no-frills RV park. If you are looking for a full hook-up 1-nighter, quick-off-on the interstate, this might work for you. Otherwise, go somewhere else.
