I didn't stay here, but I drove through and thought it should be added to the site. In the summer this could be a very good option if you don't have reservations in the park or don't want to take the risk of not getting one in Many Glacier or St. Mary, this is located about halfway between the two. There are tons of sites, and it was not busy even in busy season, so it's likely you'll be able to get a site.

Dry sites are $20, full hookups are $50. You could fit any size rig in here, it looks like some of the locals live here full time possibly. The place looks a little scary at first blush, but take a look around at the sites and you'll see it's not so bad.

The sand isn't as scary as others made it out to be, if you're smart and avoid the lighter areas that are soft sand you will be totally fine, I saw a number of diesel pushers out there with no problems. The 'campground' is technically not free as others stated, they just got away without paying, as I did :) They do not have a host during the winter months, but do starting April 1st. As you get closer to this date they start manning the gate on the weekends primarliy, I came out on a Sunday and they charged me $14 to stay, but other than that nobody was checking.

Be sure to check the weather before you come out here, the wind can be brutal! Being in sand makes it that much worse, one night we had 40 mph winds and I was breathing dust all night long.

You do get a number of jackasses riding their atv's around the beach where they're not supposed to, but otherwise it was fairly quiet. The tenters do setup right next to you on the weekends, but it wasn't a bother.

There's an RV dump with water for flushing and a separate spigot for potable water, both free once you're inside the gate.

Verizon is faster out here than it is in town, but still very slow.

There is plenty of boondocking in the snowy range area, and the views can't be beat. This site is the best in the area, although a little difficult to reach if you have a big rig.

There are 4-5 sites big enough for a decent size trailer, but the road in is pretty rocky. I had no problem getting in with my trailer, and there was a 25' airstream in there as well, just take it slow and you'll be fine.

There is no cell signal even with a booster, if you drive up to snowy range pass, you should get Verizon LTE at the Libby flats observation area.

Don't plan on visiting this area until August, there is often snow blocking the side roads until then, you may get lucky on a dry year going in early July, but not often.

There's plenty of great hikes in the area along with decent fishing.

Great quiet location in Escalante with nice bathrooms with showers and laundry. The sites are cramped like pretty much all RV parks so I don't see that as a negative, everyone that stayed here was quiet and respectful. It gets busy on the weekends and almost completely clears out during the week. We only stayed here because we needed to be in town for our photography workshop, otherwise we prefer to boondock at Hole in the rock, but this was a good experience!

The wifi is actually very fast at 10-20mb/s consistently. AT&T is hit and miss in town, usually decent 4G with similar speeds to the wifi, but sometimes does not work at all.

The $28 price is for full hookups which is quite a bargain.

Full hookups for only $20, but it's an odd place with nothing to do. I have family here so I make the stop in town every once in awhile, you are close to the black hills, but far enough to make it a long drive. To stay here you must go to the First Interstate bank downtown to pay, if the right person is there he will take your money, otherwise they will have him call you, which may take awhile...just grab a site and worry about paying later, it's a very small town and they do things differently around here. Usually the fair is around the same time as the Sturgis rally, this is the only time it's busy. This is a run down town that looks scary at first blush, but there are good people here that mean you no harm.

I needed to be in town for my photography workshop, so I put the solar panels away and plugged in, overall not a bad experience. Price was cheap ($20 for electric and water), sites are clean, bathrooms and showers are decent. Staff was easy to work with. It is located right next to the highway so you will hear cars constantly.

Be aware that if you think you can come to Page and work online, forget it. No fiber has been piped into the town, and what they have is overloaded to the max. You will be lucky to get 1mbps, most of the time it is below .5mbps, this goes for everything in town, wifi, Verizon, ATT, so plan on being mostly disconnected. Of course the wifi here is unusable.

It's crowded, with screaming kids during the day, noisy mountain bikers at night, and generators blaring in the morning. The views are nice, bathrooms are great, and the LTE is fast, but not worth $20/night. Ignore the signs about low clearance when you come in, signs say 10'6", but this is from CDOT, there is actually 16' of clearance in the tunnels.

This is the place for you! It's a little tight, but got the 25 footer in okay, took a lot of leveling and it was a bit muddy from rain. There was only one other camper here so it was super quiet and relaxing. The BLM obviously never comes out here as there was no TP in the bathroom. The petroglyphs are nothing to write home about, but this was a great place to stop overnight while driving the loneliest road in America. No cell coverage on Verizon or ATT

If you need some peace and quiet away from the state parks this is the place to go. The other reviewer made it sound like you have to stay at least a week which is not true, it is cheaper to, but you can stay as little as one night which you can do on their website. It's a simple gravel lot, but for $35 which includes electric and water, you can't beat it in this area. You are located very close to some great beaches and dining. Even during spring break this place had open spots, so when you realize that you can't get into the state parks, come here!

If you're tent camping this a great campground and easy to find a site, but with a trailer it's a challenge. The sites are small and not intended for trailers, but there are quite a few sites you can fit into. If you're coming for the first come first serve, get here around 9-10am any day of the week in the summer or you will be out of luck. Free dump station with potable water, trash, recycling, toilets. Cell service is okay, in the morning it's snappy at 3gb/s, slows down over the day and gets really slow at night, not reliable for work. Verizon is the best bet, AT&T and T-Mobile are hit and miss depending on your site.
