Cute stop for kids to run around and pictures! There is a canopy area for shade to eat lunch as well (no seating so we used a blanket).
We were there midday and did not see one person so we also let our dogs off leash to run around as well!
Cute little stop.
Great spot for kids to run around and take pictures.
When we visited, it was midday and not a persona around so we even let our dogs off leash to run around!
Great quick stop.
Oh how I wish we could have stayed the night here! What a hidden gem!
Great open spaces, hidden magical creatures - can you find them all?
RV and camping site (can’t be over 29”).
Barbecue pits, River, bathrooms and also No dogs allowed.
We hiked about 5minutes to the top of the bridge and then explored the base area and playgrounds.
Great little stop on our way home.
Very nice KOA. If you’re a first timer just know that all KOA’s are not this fancy.
Close to the city area for restaurants, bars etc. for us it was a little too close -if you prefer more remote areas. BUT it was great to visit the first KOA ever!
Great pool and mini golf. Nice river I’m back of KOA accessible via path. Bring an umbrella and beach towels! There is a sandy area to relax - spotted no one there for two days.
Laundry mat and store with necessary camping ‘stuff’.
Usually pretty packed so make sure you book in advance! Lots are also somewhat small but surprisingly cheap.
Easy hike with dogs and kids to cliff area. Plenty of space with views all while keeping families safe.
Shaded trails and picture ops.
Small parking lot, dog friendly.
Beautiful park to stretch or for a quick fishing break during our drive!
Plenty of space to walk around park with large shade trees and a large parking lot to accommodate large RV’s.
A trout fishing hatchery is also right next to river and kids can feed the fish! Dogs are welcome.
Great stop!
Great stop to stretch and to take a quick photo!
Noticed bathrooms and walking trails.
Large parking lot for big RV’s.
Great to stop here before hiking Glacier.
We received awesome trail path adobe for us and our kids, camper books for our boys and ranger stickers!
Excellent KOA. Staff is a family -
All very nice and accommodating.
Note, they pride themselves in keeping things neat and quiet. We arrived late and we almost had to wait in the holding area until morning because they didn’t want us to disrupt any other guests during quiet hours. In the end, we have a quiet RV and our experienced with quick hook ups so we were allowed.
Accommodating with dogs, section of lake allows for them to swim.
Great for kids with playground and water activities. Nice lots with plenty of space - easy for large RV’s.
Note - Colorado Mountain Kennels is close by (15min drive) to board pups for a day or two so you can hike Glacier Park! They were great and take large breeds - we have two mastiffs.
Great quiet stop. Pretty views!
Very accommodating for late check ins.
Not a lot of space to walk around or run but they have a few nice spots and a small dock to fish. Easy to keep an eye on your kids.
Nice small store to stock up on essentials and the staff was very friendly and helpful.
Note we visited in August and there were no mosquito issues.
