Nice little parking lot right off the main road in town. Turn into the parking lot right at the Prison Cow ice cream shop. One train passed on the other side of the river at about 6:00 pm and the street was quiet all night until the garbage truck around 6:30am.

My family of four, two kids, got a spot right in the lake. The week after Labour Day and pretty quite, but friendly people around. Super quite and really refreshing after coming from the city. Obviously fish in the lake with a few little boats fishing out front. New flush toilet block but no showers. $5 dump station and fresh water refill on site.

We pulled over to the beach side of the parking lot and the view from the dining room table was a herd of 30 elk grazing. Amazing place. Casino was packed because the power was out in town, but felt safe and quiet. Internet was average though.

Good little campground that’s centrally located between Yoho, Banff, Icefields and Lake Louise national parks. Lacks a little sun I. The morning and evening because of the incredible cliffs on either side. Terrible sleeps due to constant trucks on highway 1 and the train tracks. Trains every 30 minutes and trucks breaking down the hill 24 hours a day.

Great little park that’s right off the highway. Really friendly staff and full timers. Pool and hot tub add a little extra fun and are open until 10pm. Paid extra for two kids 9 and 7 years old.

This is on a very very busy road. Try to avoid sites 11 through 20, ad they back straight onto the road and are very noisy. Aside from that, the park is very clean with amazing showers. Use of hotel is great, the pool and spa area is fantastic.

Cool location across the road from the Rouge River. We walked across the street and saw salmon jumping in the river (mid August). Pretty crowded and tight spots and the western side of the park gets barely any sun. But there’s a little lodge with a store and some games like pool, ping pong and fusball.

Awesome spot! Great host and good spaces. Super close to the river for some insane fishing! Good location to both Lassen and burney falls.
