We arrived around 5 pm and parked on the perimeter, away from the casino, overlooking a small pond and golf course. Very quiet and safe. The tribal police patrolled the lot and were very welcoming. Signed up for their players card and got $10 off our restaurant bill at BB Kings. Definitely will stay here again when in the area.
This is a small (13 sites) primitive campground next to Cold Brook Lake near Hot Springs, SD. Very quiet with lots of wildlife - deer, birds, frogs etc. We are adding this to our list of great places to stay.

Nice KOA with clean bathhouses. Our site had electric and water. Just like most KOA’s, each campsite is very close to each other. We liked our site because it backed up to some ponds that they had put aerators i. So we had the sound of falling water. Even though this is off a Main Street it is very quiet.

Based on the high star ratings we booked a night at Walnut RV Park. As reported, the hosts, Misty and Peggy, were kind and attentive. We had a thunderstorm come thru at night and the lightning was impressive. Plus you can walk over to Roosters for great and authentic Mexican food. However, for the price we were charged ($48) we expected a lot more. The spots are on gravel pads, spaced closely together. The bathrooms need to be updated. In the womens restroom only 1 shower was working. In the mens restroom it smelled like someone had been smoking cigarettes. No AC in the bathrooms and it was 94 degrees outside. The park itself is about 1/2 mile from Interstate 40 - noisy. I wish them the best but we cannot recommend this place - even with the free breakfast of biscuit, egg, cheese and bacon.

Now, clean campground in Beaver. They don’t take reservations. We pulled up on Thursday at 5:15 pm and we got a very large pull thru, 30 amp, FHU. We also ate at Maria’s Cocona. Pleasant staff and first rate service.

Stayed here the last four days of their season. The owners are wonderful and very attentive. Most sites are seasonal but about 6 are for transients. The campsite is located on the Deer River Flow. Large sites, level, good roads. 14 miles to Malone if you need gas or shopping. Showers were fantastic. We will be back!

We are here in the off season - October. The park shuts down by Oct 11. So the park is pretty empty. Bath house is OK. Clean but old. Very quiet. We had full hookups and a pull thru. This site is close to highway 115 & the Kancamagus highway. WiFi is great. Would stay here again on the shoulder seasons.

Not sure about the negative reviews. This is a great place to spend a few nights. Full hookups, clean bathrooms, laundry, friendly staff. We had a leak on the hose bib and I walked to the office to let the office know. By the time I got back to my trailer the maintenance guy was there fixing it. A17 is close to highway 199 but there wasn’t much noise at night. We will be back and stay longer. The WiFi was not secured so we just used our phone hotspots. Great coverage for t mobile.

We spent 4 nights here as we visited friends in the area. The campsite was large and easily accommodated our 25’ travel trailer and truck. During the day the park was full of kids having fun on bikes or walking around. At night it got a little smoky with all the campfires. This park is quite a ways from downtown. The bathrooms/showers were just ok. The one thing we hated was that the sewer was located away from the site and about a foot off the ground. Impossible or very difficult to empty the tanks. The price was reasonable for FHU, but we could only use Water + Electric. Could not use STARLINK as the campground is in a very overgrown forest.
