Threat park with new, clean facilities. Only one bathroom for the park though so be prepared to hike.
The dirt roads were impassable in our RV. we didn’t make it. Also, apple maps sent us to the wrong place initially.
This place did honor the Native American relationship with the Buffalo and the sculptures were amazing, but it was a total ego stroke for Kevin Costner. On one plaque, his name was mentioned 3 times in 2 sentences 🙄, and they’re selling DVD’s of the Bodyguard in the gift shop, for crying out loud.
This was more of a monument to the guy who was building it than to Crazy Horse. In fact, they show a movie about the guy, and Crazy Horse’s story is demoted to 5 sheets of paper mounted to foam core.
This was campy, antiquated, and a pure delight. Definitely stop for the photo op.
Nice campground with big pull throughs. The bathrooms were immaculate, and the staff was great. The views were amazing and playgrounds well maintained.
