Cullen Brown

Cincinnati, Ohio, United States

I took my Dad on a road trip to Nebraska once to convince him that he didn't win the lottery. Though I was correct, we grew as a family.

Pretty good breakfast, impressive tap list, and unlimited coffee. I was surprised by the excellent service, given the fact that they just opened. I will continue to go here, even though it is slightly "bro." I can't recommend the French Toast enough.

This is a must stop if you are visiting Cincinnati for a couple of days. Make sure you bring cash, as it's a pain in the ass to get all the way to the top only to be told that your plastic is no good here. Also, if you are sensitive to pressure changes, you might want to bring gum. The elevator ride is harrowing.

As Chris notes, go during the day and stay away at night. If I remember correctly, this is also the only disc-golf course in the area...it's a lot of fun on a sunny afternoon. If you have kids, then a visit to the stone slide is a must.

One of my favorite parks in Cincinnati. If you're feeling adventurous, walk all of Ohio Street, as the closer you get to the park, the more ornate and interesting the houses become. And seriously, the view is awesome.

Mt. Airy park is pretty cool. Depending on where you park, the area might look a little small, but there is an extensive trail system within the park. It's dog friendly, too.

Ault Park is pretty cool, especially if you haven't visited Eden Park, which is definitely superior. That said, it is still pretty cool. One of my favorite vantage points is the valley overlook. Very Serene.

I will always have very fond memories of this place. The best place to grab a drink with friends, not to mention the best beer bar in the uptown area. I was very saddened to hear that it closed, and will mourn the passing of my favorite bar.

This place is pretty cool, historic, and all that jazz, but it was a shame to see it basically trashed during my visit.

If you are going to New Orleans and don't stay here, then you are likely a dunce, or someone that appreciates a quality mattress. That aside, this place is seriously cool, friendly staffed, and conveniently located. You will likely meet a lot of cool people from around the globe, but the best part is their breakfast. For $5, you can get a meal that will keep you full all day. I will always have fond memories of this place.

This was one of my favorite places I stopped in during a trip to New Orleans. The owner/clerk was one of the friendliest dudes I encountered and he regaled me with stories of Tennessee Williams. I highly recommend this place for any book nerd, or LGBTQ enthusiast.
