Love this campground! We spent the 4th of July long weekend here. There are vintage trailers to rent as hotel or they have BYO Trailer...limited to Vintage or Airstreams (see list on website). Just a 5 minute walk to Ventura Pier/beach. Really nice staff and tons of amenities... coffee, tea, goodies and fresh-squeezed OJ each morning, hot chocolate and makings for s’mores at fire pit each night! It is right next to train tracks—pretty busy during the day but quiet at night. All the sites are gravel and large. They had great WiFi, too.

Stayed here with C2C membership.
We were given a nice spot in row behind River-front row. All staff were very nice. Happy Hour at Tiki Bar with $1 popcorn; pitcher of beer for $5! 2Laundromat areas-$3.25 wash & dry. FYI... Park is on AZ time (our cell phones too).

We thought it was free to camp here, but it is part of Yuba State Park, so $25 per night. No one here! Deep sand.

Arrived in the late afternoon to have the place to ourselves! Easy spot to get into; very level. Dirt road is ok and short drive. If you don’t have 4-wheel drive and lifted Airstream trailer, there is only one spot for you in front of boulders. You can see from the road if camper already there. Beyond that spot, deep sandy road.

Very noisy. Your closer to the freeway and train tracks than you are to the ocean. Basically your camping in a parking lot with a table in the dirt. Spaces are small and crowded in the summer.

I’m giving it 2 stars only because if you come here and your holding tanks aren’t empty you must first dump them at a cost of $35.00 plus pay $50.00 for your site. We declined and move up the road a litter farther.

It is a parking lot, not “Camping”, hence only 4 stars. If you plan on spending 1 or 2 nights, no need to check in with Security. But if staying longer, go to the “Group Registration Desk” in the south tower of main casino with Drivers license, RV Registration and proof of insurance. You must also get the players card if not already a member. You are allowed 14 nights but we were told that if we needed to stay longer, just come back to the desk and she would give us another pass!
Gotta love FREE!

Super friendly staff and a well kept park. Spaces were just recently raked. The interior streets are sand but are well kept as with the pool and restrooms.

First, let me say we did not stay here. We are camping at Heart Bar Campground so decided to take a walk to check it out. Getting there, the road is wide and hard-packed dirt. The first few campsites a huge, far apart from each other but leveling might be a challenge. As you go farther back, some sites are very hard to get into. Better scout them out first. We posted some pics to show you.
