“with over 800 sites”

Emerald Cove Resort is located on the California side of the Colorado River, near the mountain town of Parker, Arizona. One of our largest RV parks, Emerald Cove Resort boasts over 800 campsites. Many of the resort's RV sites overlook the Emerald Cove Colorado River and the resort's private, white sand beach. The resort offers a bountiful list of water activities for children and families. A triple wide boat launch ensures easy access to the river. Watercraft rentals are close by for families who wish to spend a day on the water. At Emerald Cove Resort, your family will find two large covered swimming pools and a children's wading pool. Apart from water sports, there are scheduled events in our clubhouse, a country store, and nearby golf courses and casinos. Our facilities are clean and resourceful, including phone services and laundry rooms. The River Ratz Kids Club is the place to drop off kids or grandkids for a day of fun with supervised activities!

Stayed using Coast to Coast membership.

Campground was very easy to find. This is a standard “parking lot” style campground, there are trees and shrubs throughout. They easily handle big rigs. Sites are average size. There was plenty of room in the site for the truck, 5th wheel and jeep.

Normally campground staff does not have a significant impact on our stay. However, because we stayed for 3 weeks we had a lot of staff interaction. Much of the staff is just plain hateful. There are a few that were nice and helpful; but it seemed like majority of the staff do not like their jobs; and they like campers even less. I do not remember campground staff ever having such an impact on our stay.

Sites are all very level. Each site had a picnic table. Two very nice heated pools and hot tubs. One pool had a partial roof for shade. There are a lot of chairs and tables around the pool. Be ready for many uncontrolled kids—kids eating IN the pool and racing around the area. It is probably more of a parent issue than resort issue, but no staff was willing to deal with the running kids or the eating in the pools. Very nice clubhouse, miniature golf and a nice restaurant/bar in the pool area. The restaurant offers daily specials.

There is one very large, nice laundry room with about 10 washers and dryers. There is a second laundry area, with fewer washers and dryers—but it is closer to the river side campsites.

Campground is directly on the river, however Coast to Coast sites are away from river.

Good Verizon coverage. Easy to get DirecTV satellite signal. They offer Wi-Fi and Cable if needed.

We would stay here again, because of the Coast to Coast. However, they really need to get control; then grown ups without kids can enjoy. This park has great potential.

I would stay here again. Just closer to the club house and WiFi
We had a great time right on the water. People were friendly and helpful.
You’re able to get 2 nights free if you’re willing to sit through the membership sales pitch.
I think it’s a really good deal for full time RV folks.

We came to this resort by invitation (had to sit through a presentation). My wife and I have T-Mobile as our cell service. We had no coverage of any kind. If it weren’t for the fact that my wife has COPD this wouldn’t have been a deal breaker but since she does, it was. On top of this, WiFi is paid per day ($3 per day) and there is no refund if you can’t connect. Guess what, we couldn’t. Thankfully it was only $9 for the weekend. We don’t have any sort of water craft so staying on the Colorado River really doesn’t hold much interest for us. So this was a complete bust for us. Now, if you have a boat or whatever this could be fun. But if not, yeah, no.

Stayed here with C2C membership.
We were given a nice spot in row behind River-front row. All staff were very nice. Happy Hour at Tiki Bar with $1 popcorn; pitcher of beer for $5! 2Laundromat areas-$3.25 wash & dry. FYI... Park is on AZ time (our cell phones too).

Stayed three nights at the Emerald Cove Resort in Earp, California using our Resort Parks International (RPI) Preferred Gold Membership. Level gravel campsites on or near the Colorado River and an upbeat resort vibe greeted us upon arrival. Hot tub, pool, an active Tiki Bar with happy hour, a general store, laundry, and a reasonably priced hot breakfast at the activity hall contributed to the resort atmosphere. AT&T cellular service clocked in at 64.2 Mbps download speed and 20.1 Mbps upload speed. Verizon cellular service clocked in at 4.21 Mbps download speed and .04 Mbps upload speed. Free useable WiFi is provided in the activity hall and clocked in at 6.44 Mbps download speed and 2.84 Mbps upload speed. A visit to Lake Havasu and it’s London Bridge was an easy day trip from Emerald Cove via the scenic Parker Dam Road and then over the Parker Dam to Arizona Route 95. The Bill Williams River National Wildlife Refuge Visitor Center is also along this route and worthy of a stop to take in the stunning water and mountain views. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Emerald Cove Resort.

The spots are very close together. The water drain system was the grossest smelling I have ever seen. I don't know who says they got cell service out there but we have T-mobile and had to drive about 3 miles away to get service. So without cell service you have to rely on WiFI. No dice. You have to pay $3/day to get wifi at your spot. I could handle this if you actually got wifi for your 3 bucks. We had to walk outside of our RV and hold the phone up just to get the connection which would go away as soon as you moved an inch. They do have wifi down in bar restuarant area that was free and pretty fast. We would take turns going down there to get our wifi fix. Most of the staff was pretty friendly. If you are concerned with Covid-19... DON'T GO HERE. My family and I were the only ones who wore masks and people would just approach you without masks and didn't seem to care.

This place has To be one of the worst RV parks. After reserving a spot weeks prior I had informed the person on the phone that my RV is 50 amp. After driving 5 hours and getting to the place the lady at the gate informed me they do not have 50 amp and that I would have to dog bone down to 30. With almost the same breath she told me if I don't want to do that I could go find aother RV park to stay at. Then to find out that I was to attend a 90min "timeshare" Type of membership pitch . I was Not told that when I called.

There was another employee there that looked at me and said "come follow me ill find you a spot" it was Thanksgiving holiday and I didn't think I would be able to find another RV park that would have availabilities. So I did end up staying. 😏

The spots are very tight, The sewer lines are positioned to the front. I ended up having to run 40' of hose. The smell of sewer (methane) in the air was so bad I had to close all the windows in my rig, witch didn't make it go away. No Internet.

You would think if they wanted to sell something to somebody they would not put them in the back row where it smelled like sewer for the whole weekend. Actually ended up pulling out on Friday I just couldn't take the smell anymore. The only reason I gave it one star was because of the employee that Got me set up. The best he can.

1. Security guys are 5 stars!!! They all are awesome!
2. River spot are 5 star.
3. All other spots are maybe 2 stars
Our experience,
Family was staying here, called, they offered our 5 night stay comped if we sit through their resort membership presentation. Cool, we are about to full time RV, and wanted to hear their pitch, and happy to do so.
Came in late I. The evening, security guys were awesome at the gate, friendly, escorted us to our spot (Gravel lot, packed in tight, a little rough, not what I would set someone up in if I was trying to get them to buy a membership).
1. 30 amp, we requested 50, 30 kept tripping anytime we turned something new on.
2. Water faucet leaking.
3. Cable doesn’t work.
4. Water pressure was low.
5. Neighbors were friendly, they have to be, you are on top of each other.
6. Tank dump was at the back of spot, I had to move the trailer to get the hose to reach, so I was over into the spot behind me.
7. Quite, I will give them 5 stars for quite, awesome security guys enforcement!
The “tour”... we were given a time to stop by the “sales” office, and I went be when they opened to move my time due to a family event. The desk immediately got pissy about it. Not a first positive impression of you are asking fir my money, but they were able to move it, and the next office guys was friendly and cool.
Our “sales” guy...
1. Never get a membership here, just saying.
2. He wouldn’t answer our questions with a straight answer.
3. The packages are for their resorts, but only 1 is on the water and a few you can’t even take your trailer too, which were the ones we would want to use.
Gold, 10k, silver, 12k platinum 13k plus annual $500 and additional coast to coast $210 (plus cost $25-35 a night)

So this wasn’t going to work for us, their “resorts” aren’t close to use and we can’t stay in our trailer at 4 of them???
We asked to see pictures of the cabins, other resorts and he got pissy and tried to change topics.
We said our concerns were the resorts not being in our area, and not seeing the other “resorts” before paying a lot of money. He got pist, grabbed all the papers and asked us to leave, and walked us out the back door.

I will never stay or even consider giving them our money now based on his behavior.

Get your free stay and tell them to pack sand....

We stayed using our RPI membership. Was lucky to get a 50 amp site that was very spacious. Great heated pools. The kids zone and mini golf were great hits. Staff was courteous and friendly. Poor to zero T-Mobile and Sprint service. Verizon worked ok.
