Stone Mountain Campground isn't bad, it's just not great, hence the rating of only 3. The location to Atlanta can't be beat though, pretty much the only one!! If you want full hook ups, the center loops are the only decent spots, the others are a bit run down, way too close together and the roads to them are really rough. They're on the lake though so that's a plus!! The yurts are amazing and the outer tent sites are beautiful as well. The bathrooms are hit or miss! The ones by the pool are horrible, very unkempt and very run down. The upper bathroom in the back center loop was nice, it was much newer or much less used! The staff is very aloof, you don't see many but the trash guy! We rode our bikes all the way around the mountain and enjoyed the couple of attractions that were open. It's a weekend park and we were there during the week so didn't get to experience much. All in all, if you want to see Atlanta, this is the place to be and if you don't mind a huge camping splurge, go for the super site, they are level, double sites, with a patio and gazebo!

The plantation home and surrounding buildings is a wonderful step back in time. Many of the original furnishings and household items have been returned for displaying giving the home so much more rich history. The tour is a must so you can hear and learn the history of the people that walked on the same floors and sat on the settees! We didn't stay at the campground, just toured the grounds and buildings.

I can't say enough good things about Amy and her Bama Bison RV Park. It's remote, it's rustic, it's peaceful and above all else, it's friendly! Josh greeted us at the RV park and messaged Amy to let her know we had arrived. She came shortly and took us out on the ATV to meet her herd. They were amazing!! So docile and calm, watching us watch them, keeping their distance and enjoying the lush green grass! The bridge over the pond is stunning, the grounds are wonderful to wander through and the wildflowers are plentiful. The RV spots offer full hook ups and are fairly level and can accommodate any size rig, with or without a toad. Amy is truly passionate about creating a memorable experience for her guests.

The RV park is fine for what it is but it's definitely not a luxury resort by any standard! If your goal is to visit downtown Montgomery then the location is great but other than that, they don't have a lot to offer. The sites are very close together with maybe a 2 foot strip of grass and stickers between each. Almost the entire "Lake View" back section is permanent residents although the 5 pages of "guidelines" state that's not acceptable! We asked for an end site as it had more grass than any of the others, and a shade tree, and were told it was booked although for three days, nobody ever showed up. The workers that approached us were not friendly or welcoming so I definitely don't recommend and we won't be back, we actually left a day early.

Beautiful campground with water and electric hookups at every site. Many of the sites look directly onto the water while others have ultimate privacy. Most all of the sites are well spaced with trees in between, there are also sever buddy sites for friends and family. The campground is very large, we rode bikes around the entire area and it was a good 7 miles. Bathrooms are old but kept clean and attended. Overall, this campground is one of the best but we generally feel that way about all COE campgrounds!

As you tour Old Town San Diego, keep going all the way through the main area and you discover this small, very old, historical cemetery. So many of the head stones had adornments on them making you wonder if relatives are still visiting them? What we though would be a quick walk through turned into a much longer history lesson as we read the stories and pondered the lives of those resting here. It's a must see if you're in the area. Oh, and there's a Geocache in the cemetery as well so be sure to discover that if you are a cacher!

We had a wonderful overnight stay at this beautiful park! The rangers are amazing and worked hard to accommodate us as we failed to properly make a reservation! The grounds are very well maintained and the birds are absolutely beautiful and very plentiful! We saw several other critters roaming around and met some great people.

If you're ever near El Paso this beautiful house is a must see! It's an easy drive by and you won't be disappointed! Very artfully and creatively decorated for his wife to honor God, his homeland of Mexico and his love for El Paso. The owner passed in 2022 so the future of the home is unknown at this time.

Such a beautiful and well kept Arizona state campground! The entire area is kept very clean, including the restrooms! There are trails to walk and the spaces are far enough apart that you're not right on top of each other. The fire pit is super big so you can have a nice warm fire on a chilly night like we had. Reservations and check in is super easy and the staff is very friendly. Being able to walk over to the Discovery Center and join in on a cavern tour was icing on the cake!

As a corporate KOA, it's one of the best! The staff are very well trained, the park is kept clean and the amenities are top notch! Plenty of activities for young and old every week, special events and activities during holidays and a real sense of community. There are all sorts of sites to choose from, our favorite is the ones with a fire feature, the fire pits are in a wall so the smoke goes up, not in your face! There is a row of spots along the highway, those are a bit loud with traffic and trains but the inside spots are great! This KOA is definitely in our Top 5 and we'll always stay here when in the area. If you stay awhile, the staff becomes family!
