Kodachrome Basin State Park has been on our list to visit for a couple years and we finally checked it off the list. Spectacular views are everywhere and the showers are the best I've ever encountered at a State Park with really nice tile and rain shower heads! Staff was friendly, sites were clean, all campground users were quiet, the night sky was amazing and the hiking trails were well maintained. Dump station & potable water are available at the campground entry and firewood is available. Not all sites are level, so be prepared with some blocks or levelers. We did not have any hookups at site 10, but had plenty of sun available for solar charging our batteries each day.

Do not plan on any cell service while at the park and you won't be disappointed when you arrive.

We enjoyed our stay here in June 2019 despite the fairly tight, 90 degree back in site that we were in. The campground was clean and the access to Harris Beach was outstanding. We spent our time walking the dog on the beach and photographing the beautiful Oregon coastline. We would definitely like to come back for a longer stay to explore the area more.

This was our first time at this campground and we found it to be clean, quiet and the sites are pretty spacious. Aside from the amazing cavern tour there is hiking right from the campground and it's a short drive to other interesting SE Arizona towns like Tombstone and Bisbee. Water pressure was lower than some other campground we've visited, but not a problem.

This AZ State Park campground is located right next to a man made lake with plenty of recreation opportunities. We only had time to hike, but there are plenty of opportunities to kayak, stand up paddle, fish and bird watch. The sites are relatively spacious, but fairly close to each other. In the future I would try to get a spot on the east end which is a bit more secluded.

We loved our overnight at this campground despite the heat wave in early June. Yes, the sites are tight, but we had no problem getting around in our 26' View. The dense Redwood forest really helps keep the sound down and makes for a quiet stay. We hiked the trails outside of the campground and drove part of the Avenue of the Giants. The campground was clean and our site had a large table, a fire pit and a food locker. We'll be back!

We spent 2 nights at this small but friendly park and enjoyed the quick access to town. As mentioned in other reviews, the sites are quite close to each other. The self check in was quick and easy. My only complaint was the road noise overnight on Saturday night.
