RV hookups, we stopped for coffee in our rig, very pleasant Team Member, Daniel came and chatted with us. Apparently this is one of the first 3 RV camping spots Loves have opened. Conveniently near i30 freeway (Prescott Arkansas) D said $49.99 to stay over which we thought was a little high as we've been paying nearer $40 in other places (hence 4star review)
You can dump only for $10. Everything you might need is here, dog park, food, fuel / gas, propane refill and RV Trailer wash ! Well-kept clean and tidy, nice hookups and dumps.
Any length, we have 41' RV
Apparently book RV spots online Loves.com

God bless Texas! Awesome. You will need the $10 Beach sticker and apparently the 'season' runs Jan 1 to Dec 31 so yeah, it's all year. Not entirely sure we'll ever leave :)

Nice spacious parking lot with tons of room. Police presence frequently so we felt safe despite the disturbing sound of gunfire in the morning.
The lot is not next to the French Quarter so you’ll walk about a mile to get there.
Essentially this is a great place to stay—except, there is no posted pricing, only a warning to pay for every space you use. When I entered our plate number it charged me $20 and change per space, so with a long fifth wheel and truck separately, it was just over $60 for the night—and it’s dry camping. It was so hot n humid we ran the generator all night for a/c; the place is pretty deserted so it didn’t disturb anyone, but I’d it had been busy then we’d have been SooL with that.
We also stayed at the Lake Pontchartrain RV park which is about ten minutes away and with full hook ups, for almost the same price... so no, in future we’ll stay there.

Really enjoyed our overnight stay, backed right on to the water and with full (new) hook ups. Camp host Jimmy was very nice, welcoming, and knowledgeable. The surface is recycled ground-up asphalt so it is quite lumpy and can be sharp--so no bare feet! It's a small-ish campground but with plenty of room; it was a little tight for our 40' 5-er to get in and out, but there was plenty of room to maneuver back into our spot. The sites are clean and level. They're not numbered or marked that we saw, but Jimmy asked our preference and it was super-easy to back in. The only slight negative is there is a small water treatment/pump, at the campground entrance and the generator comes on during the night. It's not particularly quiet and I wouldn't want to be on one of the sites that's close to it, but where we were, it wasn't overly loud. Verizon signal is excellent, and surprisingly the WiFi worked great as well. Oh yeah--and it's $15 a night! We love these small State campgrounds and the people here are just the nicest. Definitely recommended and we'll be back for sure!

Super-friendly, very helpful new owner Carol (since June 2020). We were met before the park entrance and shown to our spot and allowed to get settled in. Carol then showed up about an hour later and checked us in. We paid a crazy discounted rate nowhere near the number I posted above--I rtold her she'd never make any money and she just shrugged her shoulders and told us "It's all about the people".
Beyond the lovely owner, the park itself is very pleasant with distant views of the mountains. The gravel lots are fairly close to each other, but not overly so so we didn't feel cramped. The plot was level and although not a pull-through, there's lots of room to maneuver.
Decent cell signal (Verizon) plus provided WiFi.
Really enjoyable stay, we would definitely stop by again.

This isn't a camping experience per se as this is simply a very convenient way to spend the night(s) while visiting the park. However it is a very pleasant situation and not too noisy etc. The sites are very close together, but they're flat and hard gravel. They are back-in only. They are on the side road to the park, and there's tons of room to maneuver big rigs. Check in process was very nice as the people are super-friendly. Cell service (Verizon) is awesome. Pleasant surprise was that the WiFi worked well enough for us to stream TV last night too.

The sites are not very level and are not paved. Those are literally the only downsides; otherwise this campground is absolutely spectacular. Many of the trees are historic, dating back to the Civil War, and indeed the whole area is protected because of its significance, hence the rustic feel and lack of made up infrastructure. Having said that, the County does have it slated to remodel the bathrooms and facilities (which we did not use). We had full 50a power and hook ups--for $20 a night! Big rig friendly, we easily fit our 40' 5th in. Verizon cell phone was excellent, almost full bars. The camp hosts are very welcoming and super helpful, and the only other full-timer is the local Sheriff/Paramedic who was next to us; and what a nice family they are too. The weather was humid and the surrounding forest full of sound, but surprisingly there were minimal bugs. The root beer colored river is just down the road for swimming and fishing. The peace and quiet is exceptional here, we simply can't say enough good things about this place--we came for one night and ended up staying four. One of the most beautiful, nicely run campgrounds we've ever stayed at. Absolutely loved it.

Lovely lady at park entrance found us a spot despite not having a reservation, and the charming camp host met us to show us to our spot. $28 for full 50A hookups is great! The gorgeous, picturesque campground is beautifully maintained with mown grass, plenty of trees, and nice level, long sites. We did have neighbors but they weren't super close. Very easy access and big rig friendly. Verizon gave us 2 bars and was very acceptable. Loved this place and will for sure return!

Easy access near 101 but no road noise.. Good for big rigs.
Looks unkempt and old fashioned- it is. However, it was great for us. Butch met us in his golf-cart (& dog Bailey). Pull through sites for us and friends in same size RV. Old park with many permanent regulars who were all friendly. Really quirky, interesting campground to walk around and enjoy amazing old, huge trees. On our site the water we connected to was brown - we think from rust, useable but not attractive. Our power 30 amp only which worked fine. Cell was decent,2/3 bars, we're on Verizon. We don't use site showers/restrooms but looked in via coded entrance, very dated, expect old facilities, this might lower our star-rating if we needed to use them I guess. We felt that we'd had a good value time discovering this little gem with awesome big trees and one particular extraordinary house built by hand in a 1200 y.o.stump. Great dog friendly stop over. Olde worldy❣️

The washboard road to get here is about 3 miles(?) long and took us around 25 minutes to navigate. That is literally the only negative, and perhaps it's even a positive as the campsite is off the beaten track and therefore so quiet. Jeez, this place is REALLY nice. Huge space between each site, and most of them either back on to the small river or the flowing spring. It's green, grassy and very pleasant. Dry camping, although there are water faucets within reach of most sites if you have a long hose. There is a small herd of deer that wander through the campground with minimal fear. Verizon coverage was amazing as there's a cell tower nearby. Almost zero pull through sites, but we did get our 40' 5th wheel around the entry road very easily, although there was a bit of angst at the end hairpin. The sites are huge; once we'd backed in (easy-peasy) it felt like the whole place was ours, despite there being other campers in the area. $8 a night only, so $4 with Senior National Park Pass. We absolutely loved it here and will be back for sure.
