We did the Adventure Canopy Park. It was awesome. Children as young as 6 can do the ropes courses. They are tiered by age. 6-7 can do 2 very challenging courses. They have a great safety system for them. 8-10 can do 3. 10-12 can do 4 and 13+ can do the whole park. We had a blast. Obstacles and zip lines for 2 hours. Kids haven't slept this good in a long time. Staff is super friendly and they are not time watchers. We had a blast!

Super clean. Large very nice pool. We have a 30' fifth wheel and the creek side sites were a bit sung. Great location. DO NOT FOLLOW WAZE FOR GPS. WAZE will take you to a dead end

Laurel and Fuller Lakes offer a wonderful day for swimming in the summer. The campground is clean, and during the early summer you can see AT hikers coming in to do the Half Gallon Challenge (ice cream eating). The AT museum is cool, and there is a historic iron furnace on the grounds. Take the time to hike Pole Steeple Trail and enjoy the view. There is often people rock climbing or rappelling.

Nice park, close access to the AT. If you are looking for a nice hike and over night camp, go south to Tumbling Run Shelter.

I have used this outfit many times in the past. Their boating gear is nice and they have a wide variety of services. I took my 7 year old on a mid-week guided Middle Yough Trip. It was just us and the guide. Even though it was me and my daughter he made it a great trip. Their staff is friendly, and their location cannot be beat. I am not sure why this place has a lower than 4 over all rating, but try them you will like them. They also offer many other trips than the Yough, but when you are this close to amazing whitewater, why do something else. They also offer biking and fishing trips. I have only used them for Whitewater.

This campground is awesome. You can walk to the beach, and fish at night at one of the best places to fish in Delaware. Sits right on the Indian River Inlet. The campsites are not huge but you have enough room for your camper. The price for the beach cannot be beat. I will say it lacks ANY shade as you are camping in the dunes. This entire facility was just remodeled. The shower house and bathroom are clean and super nice. If you go in June you will get the added fun of watching the Turtles migrate to nest. We had one dig a nest right on our site. The rangers mark the nests to keep people out of them. Close to Bethany Beach, but you have everything you need there on site, location, location, location! There is a nice restaurant at the North Inlet.

Awesome spot at the end of the Kennebec River. Water is calm and was quite clear when we were there. Keep you eyes out for seals. If you are planning to canoe or kayak know that the tide here is quite impressive. It moves about 8 feet up and down as the tide rotates. We fished right from the beach and caught some Stripers. The small food mart and restaurant was awesome too.

Wildwood Lake is an interesting park on the Paxton Creek. This lake is controlled by an old rose dam works that drains the lake into the Paxton Creek. This is a great stop for bird watchers, and is a wonderful urban/suburban green space. The path around the lake, and Olwine Nature Center is approximately 3.1 miles. It is a great place to walk pets, or go for a run.

This should also be placed under history as well. Fort Hunter Park and Mansion sit on a historic fort grounds. During the Colonial times, their was once a supply fort on the Susquehanna River, the mansion currently sits on top of this old block house used to help supply Fort Augusta. Now it is a nice open green space with 2 playgrounds, access to the river, a covered bridge, barn, horse barn, and bathrooms. The flush bathroom is on the eastern side of the park. The park is separated by Front Street. They are currently building a kayak and canoe launch on the north end of the park.

This is a great little gem. Right in the Nebraska Campus. Lots of exhibits and a nice kids "please touch" area.
