Off hwy 281 is this small self pay campground pads are grass with 50 amp and water hookups for 25.00, great cell coverage did not pick up any tv antenna channels.
There is a small building that has the envelopes and drop box for the payment.
We were the only ones at the campsite, word of caution with so much rain in the area our trailer sunk into the grass by the following morning on the soggy grass.
Not much road noise even with the hwy.

Dump right by the dog park, pay $10.00 inside, they hold on to your DL and they hand you the key to the lock. Return the key you get your DL back, big parking area new truck stop, convenient and clean.

Full hookups, they charge you to use the WiFi, $ 10.00 for a week. Pads are level but it’s mostly dirt the pea gravel is almost swallowed up by mud, when we had rain it was a muddy mess. Verizon signal is spotty, pets are allowed.
We had paperwork to finish but we would not stay here again, right off the 90 hwy.

It’s a convenient small campground, it’s self check in at the small white shed where you get the envelope and drop box. We had Verizon signal but it would drop off, We did receive local tv antenna stations.
The sites are back to back, 50 amp and water hookups.
There is a lot of road noise from fedex trucks that drop and pick up box cars. We were here during Sturgis so the Smallest Biker Bar was busy and noisy, that sits across the street next to a gas station that has a laundromat and pizza place.
Overall a good stop maybe when it isn’t so busy.

We had originally planned at staying at Fish Creek but there was a big group there, so we kept going on FS 118, about 4 miles in we found a meadow area with a firepit from previous campers in an offshoot road. Lots of cow poop around, this is open range land.
We were off the main road and we could see and hear traffic but no one came down our road.
2 LTE Verizon signal was great.
We would stay here again.

Enjoyed our stay at this RV park, it was busy but quiet. Full hookups on level gravel and grassy spots for 40.00.
You can walk to downtown Belle Fourche or the river walk.
Meet the owner super nice, has a beautiful lab Rueger, he wanders the campground looking for someone to toss the ball for him!
There are bathrooms and showers, I did not visit them.

This KOA had tons of shade and trees to park under. Spaces weren’t as close as the typical big city KOA’s, which was nice.
It’s about a mile away from the 40 hwy, so no road noise. Quick and easy check in, masks must be worn in the office.
Bathrooms are clean and spacious.
Cable was not at all great, WiFi is fast.

We stayed on September 1,2020
I guess we shouldn’t have been surprised it’s right next to the freeway way, so it is loud all night long.
We had a pull through it was level definitely need more gravel, it is muddy.
Laundry was closed due to COVID-19, showers are only for the guest staying in the cabins because of COVID-19.
We were there for one night and we were glad.

Campground sits far enough but close to downtown Rapid City, on the highway to Mount Rushmore. Sits on a hill, sites are close together. stacked upward on the hillside, not many trees. Sits on the highway but does get quiet at night.
Bathrooms are large.
Discount for Good Sam members.
