Rapid City RV Park and Campground

Yes this park has some amenities and has full hookups but the RV part is bad roads and we are packed in like sardines. Choose wisely

Quaint older campground that is comfortable and relatively quiet. Staff is very friendly. Shower building is great. Located on the top of Rapid City with a wonderful view - you can see for miles and miles. Easy access and all the stores you could need in the local area. Water, sewer and electric hookups are new and maintained. Plenty of grassy areas for kids to play with new playground equipment. Also good areas to just sit and take in the view. Adequate areas to walk dogs. My favorite thing about this campground is that it has good energy.

Super WiFi, spaces are tight with terrace layout. They are upgrading pavement and electrical. Staff super friendly with escort to site

Small park with tight spots. Close to highway and good locale to travel to Mt Rushmore, Crazy Horse, Iron Mountain Road, Sturgis and Deadwood. Not a destination campground, but staff was friendly and there was a pool for the kids and laundry facility. Fireworks in Rapid City on the 4th were A+. Bathrooms a little sketchy.
Note: accidentally added no AT&T service here. Our Verizon and T Mobile worked well. I use T Mobile for camper WiFi for work and was able to complete several zoom video calls.

Campground sits far enough but close to downtown Rapid City, on the highway to Mount Rushmore. Sits on a hill, sites are close together. stacked upward on the hillside, not many trees. Sits on the highway but does get quiet at night.
Bathrooms are large.
Discount for Good Sam members.

Nice people. Facilities are old but the place is clean and well kept. Has a laundry facility with 7 washers and 6 dryers ($2 for each). The water here is very hard but is clean. The sites are packed tight on top of one another. Some people with larger slides won’t be able to open up all the way if you have neighbors. The campground is on steep slopes so there is no level walk. Some trees provide some shade for most guests. Very close to lots of attractions.

This is a great stay for entering the Black Hills. Owners were awesome. View is amazing , bathhouses clean and plenty of them.

Overall, just okay, but I didn't have anywhere else to stay.
The staff were kind, and the bathroom was clean (though it was old). What I didn't like here was the campsite was down after the steep hill, totally away from the office.
