Nice backdrop off sunset beach. His and remembers seeing this as a child.
Love this beach and watching the dogs.
Rode the rail bike. It was a nice little trip, did not encounter any wildlife. Trip took approx. 3 hrs. There if room to take a backpack with water and snack. Restroom in the beginning at station, port a pot at turn around, actually very clean. This was a one and done. Would try another location though.
As with all campgrounds there were some nice sights and some crowded ones. The site we stayed on directly across from the pool adjacent to the road leading to the tents sites was horrible. People kept cutting thru all hours of the day to get to the pool and beginning of river for tubing. After a couple times of complaining finally able to have mai again s put up tape to stop people from cutting thru.
Campground was clean. A lot were enjoying tubing on the river and mining for diamonds. Even if not mining a visit to the Mines gift shop was worth it for the history and glimpse of the diamonds.

Sits remotely from anything. State beach 13 miles away close attraction. Loved the BWI bike trail for riding asphalt (11 mike loop). Nothing special or great about the campground for the price other than KOA.
Loved the loop and going from the elevated view, down thru the horse farm. The closest point to this part, was to park at the high school. Lindale.
Stayed here during the pandemic when it was allowed to resume out of town guests that could self contain. Grounds were very clean, sfaff was helpful and nice. Rating based just on what we could see. Would stay here again.
During the pandemic they are offering take out services. We ordered from their website had a 15 min wait time. Food was ready, staff was friendly and it was delicious! Had Disco fries, Buffalo chicken wrap and of course hotdogs!
Grounds overgrown, parking off side of busy road, so use caution. Rock plaquered, Quick little interesting spot for Lincoln history buff.
