Not much happening in here. Aquarium is still going and can find a Welcome to Scranton sign for photo op.
Nice to walk in, have a cocktail at Trax or dinner at Carmens. Really pretty inside with the high ceiling, marble walls/floor, stained glass ceiling.
Another building to walk by and see.
Great to snap a photo for all you “Office “ fans.
10 min stop to stretch your legs and take a look at this. Nice little park.
Closed currently for renovations anticipating opening late June, 2021. Call ahead, website did not mention this and tickets sell out quickly.
The giant cowboy stands 22' in front of the Cowtown Rodeo and famer's market. His face is not typical and may have been custom designed to resemble a car dealer in Delaware. He was acquired at an auction and has stood here since 1975.
Another NJ giant - the viking muffler man produced for Viking carpets an called Eric the Viking. Stands 16' has been here since the 1960's
Nitro girl has stood in this location since 1965. She was a typical Uniroyal Gal but in 2007, the owner had two female artists transform her into a super hero. The tire store even sold bobble heads of Nitro Girls. She stands 18'. There are quite a few larger than life giants in the state of NJ, fun roadtrip to visit them all.
Nice little campground. Sites are a little tight.
