While beautiful the campground is small. Only 6 sites plus large Day Use area with a boat launch. There is a warning by the launch, water is shallow for larger craft. The is a train track about a mile away. You can here the train, but not unpleasant and very few when I stayed.

The site, while new are a little crowded. One vault toilet is available. That's it. No water or trash. Pack it in - Pack it out. Leave no trace.

Access is a little narrow, bu doable for my 32' Fifth Wheel. Any larger and it probably would be difficult.

It was my first time camping here at Humbug Mountain. My site had 30 AMP service with water. Not all sites are electric. Beautiful park with access to the beach within a short walk. If you take your dog to the "black sand beach" be careful they can cut up their paws running here. There is a dump located here with very good access.

Beautiful campground views and close to many things to do, including hiking. Check out the Rock Face Creamery in Bandon also the Clam Chowder at Minute Cafe is good. Many small shops to browse for that special souvenir.

I gave this five stars as it is a unique park and location. I would take 1/2 star off for the restroom cleanliness. While not completely trashed they could have been a little cleaner on a daily basis. Still very usable. Hot showers are also available here, but I didn't use them.

Small secluded campground along Mill Creek. Hiking is available. The sites are pretty small, but very secluded. My 32' 5th wheel would not fit is site #2 and it was the biggest site. The Host was very kind and let me spend two nights in the Group area.

Vault Toilets are available along with water sources. No dump station. While the camp is very nice I do not recommend pulling a larger trailer or motor home back to the campground. The one lane gravel and dirt road gets very narrow. It would be great for campers, small trailers and tents.

Note: while the website said site #2 would fit a 50' RV, it is for the entire length of the vehicle. Mine is a little over 50', but not much. There would have been an issue with the tree clearance also.

Nice place to camp not far from Santa Barbara and the Pacific Ocean. Great views and not far from Solvang and Wine Country. Park access is on a winding rather steep at times road, but doable for RV's.

The National Forest campground like many others is ran by a concessionaire. Clean well manicured sites with dirt and grass. Paved interior road needs a lot of repair work. The Host at this small campground was very friendly.

The normal nightly camping fee is pretty high at $30, although I paid $15 with the America the Beautiful pass. There are clean flush toilets, trash service and water is available, but the campsites are barebones. While I may have given this campground a higher rating, $30 dollars is way too high for the facilities (but it is California). Also they don't have a RV Dump and you will have to travel 10 minutes to the State Park, pay a day use fee of $10 to use their less than desirable Dump.

Great park, as are all the COE parks I've visited. The parks I have been to were built in the early to mid 1900's, as huge water projects were being built. This park was built in 1950 as part of the McNary Dam project and is very well maintained. Our forefathers really had it together on these projects. The spaces are large compared to what we find in modern campgrounds and the prices remain very affordable.

I was at first disappointed in the campground. They seemed a little unorganized and the campground was still overgrown, I guess a little due to the very wet winter. During my stay the rest rooms and showers were closed. Sad because they looked fairly new. Maybe it was due to the water shortage. There is some road noise from Pacific Coast Highway and of course the ocean at times. NOTE: my visit was in April 2017 (a little late posting)

Campground roads are paved and mostly maintained. Camp sites were moderately close with no hookups. They are paved sites surround with grass and trees. Picnic tables, fire rings are available for each site. Privacy is minimal. There is water available, trash service and a waste dump. The campground is heavily used on the weekends and holidays.

The park is located near a beach with a trail to access, but you can't take your dog on the beach. The park is also located close by to Hearst Castle, Cambria, Morro Bay and many scenic beaches along the way.

There is water available throughout the camp, but if you want to fill your RV tanks, do so at the Dump on your way into the campground. Make sure you are prepared for a wilderness stay, as supplies and fuel is an hour away (one way). There is a lot of trails available for exploring and vault toilets. The only negative I have is there isn't any cell service.

Our site was a little difficult to back into. It's been raining a lot and the edges of the pavement were very muddy. The angle of this site was almost reverse of what it should have been, considering the paved campground road was one-way traffic.

Once parked and setup we had a wonderful stay for five nights. The campground was full at times as it was a holiday weekend approaching. There is a lot to do here and we took advantage of the Bike and hiking trails visiting many, but not all of the Falls in the park.

Facilities included water and electric hookups and a Dump near the park. There are flush toilets and showers available.

With the senior pass the rate is $15 nightly

Small campground about 20 minutes from Morro Bay. Only a couple of campsites here suitable for RV's, they are very small and the one lane road in can be a little intimidating pulling a larger trailer or RV. I camped here at site #8 with a 32' fifth wheel and stuck out in the street a foot or so, however it did fit. Again larger rigs watch the turn around at the end. There are a couple of pull throughs that might be a little easier for a larger 35' rig, but I think that should be the max.

Facilities were kept clean by the host and they were very nice. There is vault toilets, fresh water and trash pick up available here. No Waste Dump available.

Trees and foliage is beautiful here and the camp serves as a trial head for a hike to the top of the mountain. There is a lot of poison oak here so be careful, yourself and your dog. Very busy on weekends.

On Georgetown Lake with a boat launch, fishing and wildlife. Most campsites are shaded by tall lodgepole pine trees. Vault toilets are available and drinking water is from hand pumps. Not so good for filling your RV tanks, but doable. Most sites fit larger RV's, but bring them already filled with fresh water from outside the park. Dump is available in Phillipsburg ($?) or Anaconda ($free). Weekend was busy but reasonably quiet. Weekdays it was almost empty.

They accept Senior America Pass (Discounted Daily Rate $7.50)
