Beautiful campground. The grounds are kept up nicely and the hosts are very nice. To keeps the grounds nice though they needed to water and listening to sprinklers can be a little distracting at bedtime. The fauna is fun too. There are an amazing amount of birds to watch including pelicans and geese. There are a bunch of other birds too I'm just not a bird watcher to know the names. We only stayed the night but I would love to come again.

This is a lovely park with huge deciduous trees and lovely rolling grassy knolls - meticulously maintained. The day I arrived it was in the 90s, and inside the park it was some ten degrees cooler. Pads are asphalt, level and come in all sizes. The COE should be very proud of this park.

Now the downside. There is a lot of traffic noise from US 12, and Kennewick/ Pasco are two cities that have zero appeal. I'd stay here again - but not for four days again.

The rate quoted has two discounts, they had a mid-week price, and the Golden Pass discount.

Great park, as are all the COE parks I've visited. The parks I have been to were built in the early to mid 1900's, as huge water projects were being built. This park was built in 1950 as part of the McNary Dam project and is very well maintained. Our forefathers really had it together on these projects. The spaces are large compared to what we find in modern campgrounds and the prices remain very affordable.

We stayed for one night in August. It's a clean, well-maintained park with lots of shade trees and short walking nature trail. The sites are not private at all and you will definitely see all your neighbors but they are nice-sized spaces and we had no trouble navigating our 34-foot fifth wheel through the park. We paid $12 and had an electric hook-up but no water or sewer. There were on site restroom/shower facilities which were also tidy.
We'd definitely stay again if we needed a stopover in the area.

My nighty rate included fees to book online. The campground is geared towards RVs. There is only one 2/4 stalled bathroom for men/women for the entire park. There is a ton of shade trees but the sites are too close together for tenters/privacy. My site actually had a shared driveway entrance. The park was full both the Thursday and Friday night we stayed. Sunsets are nice as the campground is right on the river. I would come back off season if the park was close to empty. AT&T booted was 4 bars 4GLTE.

We got a good spot in the back it was nice and flat for a tent.. the camp host are nice..
bathrooms could of been a bit cleaner, the water play area is gravel and not sand so it makes it hard without water shoes.
Bugs were crazy bad, I know we were around water but earwigs were EVERYWHERE.. I’m pretty sure I brought 100 home in my stuff..
gate closes at 10 and opens at 6 so between that time you are stuck in the camp ground.

It was good, only that the showers weren't very clean and far from overflow parking, where only a porta potty. But was great for a night, if you don't mind that with restroom,
oh and bees all over in the morning. No campfires in overflow parking. I would come back again tho. Kayaking was fun.

Random spot, found it on a Google web search. Really nice place to camp though. Kind of felt like being in a city park, but very calm and relaxing. Manicured grass... definitely not wild Boondocking, but very satisfying, nonetheless.

We stayed two nights. They have a dump station and potable water at the park entrance, but no hook ups other than electrical at the sites. So, I filled our tanks and dumped black and gray when we entered, then again when we exited.

Chill, no stress weekend. Booked it on Recreation.gov

We stayed in a pull-thru site and had no issues with the electrical hookup. It was very hot near the end of July so we loved running the A/C and walking to the nice beach in the Day Use area. Site 39 had nice shade coverage but not a great view of the river. The staff do a great job of cleaning the picnic tables after each stay and keeping the lawns lush. Plenty of dumpsters nearby for trash, wish they had recycling. Also loved the fire pit for roasting hot dogs.
