We reserved this site hoping it it provide solitude and an awesome view. Both are amazing. No one near us, and the view is amazing. The sunset should be fabulous!
Strange parking next to a cabin, but no one in occupying the cabin.
Water, Electric & Sewer are present. No problems with any, other than the fact that we had to park about 15 ft away in order to level out unit. Not a big deal. We parked in front of the connections to prevent anyone from driving over them.
Wifi is weak in this location. We were able to use a hotspot to get better service.

We stayed here for three nights. The sites were roomy and each has full hook-ups. Sites are all back-in, with dirt/grass pads.
There are a lot of 4-wheelers, but the noise was not bad actually.
This is a dog friendly campground with two very large areas to run them.

Yes, this is a beautiful site, We are in site 36, and we would recommend sites along the back 40...meaning sites 32-38. Other sites have full sun. And the pull through sites....well you better enjoy your neighbor. They have overlapping slides and awning.
The website states that the store is full of everything you need, but this is not a true statement. They have nothing that is mission critical. No food, eggs, butter, bread, etc. These can be had by driving a short distance to Dickeyville. A small mom & pop store has everything! And the workers were super nice!
Lastly, road noise. Yep, this is a real thing here at the Rustic Barn. You can here the traffic from the nearby highway all night long.
The shower house is old and outdated. They really need an upgrade.
The picnic table needs a serious overhaul. Ours was wobbly and needed a lot of bolt tightening.
While this might sound critical...it really is a nice campground. They just need to pay a bit more attention to detail.
Oh, lastly, the firewood, well it is dry and will burn. Do not hesitate to buy the bundles from the campsite!

We stayed at this site in Late June, 18th to be exact.

Check-in was a bit slow, as they were training in a new person. Not a problem at all. Always good to have awesome staff.

The site, 51, was semi level, back-in site. Hook-ups were easy and placed as expected. There was a lot of room between sites.

The entire grounds were well kept and have plenty of roaming grounds. The store is packed with novelty items, and neccesitites.

Check-in was easy. Sites are mostly level. Some of the water connections are wonky. We stayed in site 511, but had to use the water connection from site 510. Quiet. Peaceful! Wi-Fi was really good for us!

We stayed in Site 068. This site included full hook-ups. Everything was most awesome! It was a great place to stay, close to so many things to delve into...hiking, photography, etc.

We stayed here one night. We arrived late, but the info card was located at the office. We stayed in site 27. It is a rock/pebble site. Leveling was easy and the site was long, 60'.

We had no issues here. Cell service was good. Wi-Fi, not so good.

There is a state park across the street from the campground!.

We would stay here again!
