We found it behind the museum under a canopy. It's an old parade float. We always stop and take pics of these kind of things so for us it was worth it. For the general population...probably not so much;)

This was the very first time we stayed at an rv park. Overall it was a great place. Super clean, nice rec room, pool and jacuzzi, cute store, community room (with different daily activities), homemade ice cream for purchase every night, and sometimes special dinners for purchase.
The one negative-the staff wasn't super helpful:( It was our first time at Zion and when we had questions, they seemed a little irritated with us. We also spent a long time (right in front of them) debating on which map to buy. As soon as we handed over our money, they said "oh...did we give you this free map yet?" It was practically the same map. Irritating.

Pretty amazing human feat! If you're driving through you should definitely stop. I'd even say if you have to, go out of your way to stop. The dam tours weren't operating when we went so we took the power plant tour. I'm glad we paid the $15/$12per person for the tour. If you go to the visitor center alone it's $10 so you may as well pay the extra $5/$2 for a the tour.
It was also super fun to walk across the top of the dam and cross the state line with the different time zones marked.
Bring water. It gets very hot! And if you drive to the other side of the dam, parking is free. You have to walk down a couple of switchbacks, but it's free:)

My husband loved this spot. It is not at the location marked. It's actually at Whisky Petes across the street. There's a little exhibit, also including documents, pictures and Clyde's "death shirt." The car was behind glass walls so you can't get too close to the actual car. Because it's in a casino we got in and out pretty fast as we had kids with us. They just asked us to bring them in via the outer edges of the room.

We love stops like this. It only took a few minutes to pull off and snap a pic. It was 117 the day we stopped. A draw back-When you're up close to the thermometer you can't see the temperature lit up. You can however see it when you drive by;)

We arrived when a huge your bus did. Bad timing. But we still had fun. Everyone was excited to be there and it was a great atmosphere. It is however $5. Didn't mind paying, but the listing said free. Luckily they took cards as well as ash;) Definitely worth the quick stop;)

This museum is closed:( The people have retired. There is still a repair shop across the street, but the museum is gone.
