Easy drive to area, right off I70. Easy driving through area to find a camping spot. A few rocks in the roads but mainly sand/gravel. Lots of short PiƱon pine and cedar surround all very level camping spots. Amazing views- canyons, mountains in distance with snow and cliffs. Some fire rings. Trailer, tent and Motorhome access. A few ATV's. Mid week and very few people here. Have absolutely no neighbors in sight!
Verizon coverage of 4 bars is with booster. 3 Bars without.

Very well kept and beautiful private campground. Had an end site at the bottom of the hill and the views of the rolling hills are fantastic. Everyone is escorted to campsite. Allows RV and car washing but beware- very hard water! All pull throughs. Decorative bird houses line the drive to the campground. There are no grocery stores, or stores at all nearby so stock up before hand.
Railroad trains do go by all night- but unlike my husband, I like the horns! Do NOT follow your GPS at the Garryowen exit, will be on the wrong side of the interstate. Follow their yellow signs.

Great spot on the weekdays! Came through looking for sites on the weekend at Willow Springs. It was very crowded. Drove quite a ways down the road coming in on Sunday and there were many more open spots. The roads are really rugged. Lots of rocks, slippery rock and potholes. Didn't know if the 34 foot motorhome would actually make it. But it did and it was well worth the grand expanse and beautiful campsite. Only a few ATVs and motorcycles going through

Mid May and no other people camped here. A few OHVs parked to unload, but they come and go with very little noise. The surrounding green hills are amazing. Sheep are bleating and grazing nearby with a sheep dog that was clear he did not want me to take any more photos or come any closer to his charges...
Easy access from I15, only a couple miles. The roads in are good graded gravel.
The underpass is not marked with height. We are 12 ft and it was fine.
The OHV paths are great for hiking too.
Fire pits are by the picnic shelters.
Wonderful site for waiting out a late spring snowstorm. Camped in a 34' Motorhome and didn't need to unhook tow car.

Beautiful, well spaced and well maintained campsites with water and electric. Dump station on site. Great access to a multitude of hiking paths and close enough to the Phoenix area to go to but still feel removed in the desert mountains.
There is only one shower stall for men and women each so may need to wait sometimes. Restrooms and showers are very clean.

Palm Canyon rd is off of 95 between Quartzsite and Yuma. Canyon road in well maintained gravel. Their are several big rig friendly turn offs to camp next to main road. We took a right turn on small road that led to a variety of secluded camping areas. Watch the roads for some flooding when lots of rain. Unlike wide open Dome, Road runner, and Hi-Jolly the cactus and small bushes limit camping to Relatively established areas.
The hike up Palm canyon was wonderful. Rather long dirt/gravel road leads to the canyon parking lot. Only went about 3/4 of mile in so didnā€™t make it to the Palms but it was lovely amid the soaring canyon walls anyway.
