Crane is a VERY small town but it has a great hot spring a few miles up the road. I didn’t see any other businesses in town.
This place is the RV park, the restaurant, the grocery, the post office, the gas station and the bar. Awesome breakfast food and a decent selection of bottled beers.

Beautiful beach with private access some cabins and tent sites oceanside. Amenities, tents and cabins were closed due to corona Virus.

Spots are a bit close together for my taste but are clean and maintained.

Free WiFi throughout

We stayed here in early June. Our spot was right on the river and adjacent to the tent sites. The weekend had some noisy neighbors but things really cleared out Sunday and Monday was very peaceful. There are several long-term residents on the other end of the park (cheaper) but mostly it’s clean & tidy.

The place seems fairly well maintained and functional but is showing its age and is in need of some repair.

Fishing for OTS (other than salmon) was unproductive. The entire riverfront is dock so there is plenty of room to try your skills. Verizon coverage is borderline but if you’re outside in the right spot and hold your mouth just right, you can get two bars. You’re not going to be streaming video but it’s enough to write reviews on Campendium!

There are some nice private tent sites in the back woods if you like privacy.

Only a mile from the highway and a quick trip into town.

We had a spot right by the river on the far end in early June. It was dry but gets quite windy in the afternoons.

On Sunday night we had the entire end to ourselves. There are several long-term residents mostly in the cheaper non-river sites. Our site was big enough for a 30’ trailer & pickup with room to spare.

Water is OK & power stayed on. Be advised - there is no WiFi. I have Verizon and had one bar an no data inside the trailer. If you are in the right spot outside and hold your mouth the right way, you can get 2 bars and enough data to function but you won’t be streaming video.

Only about a ten minute drive into Lincoln City.

The entire riverfront has a pier to fish of of but in three days I saw nothing caught. There are boats for rent for crabbing or fishing.

The ownership is in transition and I hope the new owner will focus on updates and repairs.

I didn’t stay here but it looks like a great place to stay if you want to visit downtown.
I was dry camping in the mountains so I needed a dump station. It costs $10 and has a bill acceptor and a card swipe.
Easy pull in and well maintained

We were here at the end of October and used a fall discount code for $7 off the nightly rate. The back side of the loops offers the best privacy but little sunlight. Every loop has a bathroom and some have clean and free showers. Place is well kept and they have lots of hosts. Beaches are driving Or bicycling distances with the closest being a mile. Most of the beaches are drive on this time of year.
Be aware that some loops do not have sewer hookups. Not a problem for 2-3 day stay and there is a free waste dump near the entrance. If you must have a site with a sewer look for “STANDARD-FULL”.
We were here years ago during the summer and the place was packed. There is an enormous KOA across the street with lots of activities.

The park is very pretty and well maintained with clean bathrooms and coin-operated showers. There are lots of tall pines and shaded areas. There is an accessible trail that takes you over a covered footbridge into the city park. From there you walk across the street and you are in downtown Sisters.

This would be a great place to stop for the night but I would not consider it a destination. For one thing, Sisters is a cool town with lots of interesting shops and restaurants but it is quite expensive. Second was the road noise at the campground. Highway 20 is the main drag and very busy with cars and semi trailer traffic. Our spot #47 was on the highway side of the park and less than 50 yards from the highway. Things got quiet at night but this is not the kind of camping we like to do.

I had a nice dinner at Rancho Viejo in town. ($60 for 2)

We stayed 4 days in late July. A lake covering about 20 acres was recently stocked with 10” - 12” trout. There is both reserved camping and walkup camping (meaning that they hold some spots for people who show up without reservations).

We were on the RV side but the other side is mostly tents. There is a mostly paved, handicap accessible path all the way around the lake with benches, fishing docks, and other amenities. There is a ramp of sorts to launch your small boats or floaties and a sand/clay beach.

The RV side is quiet and well laid out with easy access to the lake via several paths. There is no electricity or sewage in the park but there is a place to fill water containers. If you need to fill your RV tank, you can do so down the road a few miles at the ranger station. Nearest dump station is at the Crook County RV park on Main Street in Prineville 25 miles away.

The park host Don was one of the friendliest and helpful I have ever encountered. Firewood and earthworms for sale at the host’s site.

Near the towns of Rockaway and Garibaldi and the city of Tillamook. It is a short walk to both the jetty for fishing or a nice beach for relaxing & walking.
The last row closest to the ocean is the most private. Campground is well maintained and clean.

I was motorcycle camping and this was a great jumping off point for Crater Lake. The “natural bridge” is an old lava tube and the entire Rogue River disappears into a basin and pops up several hundred feet later.
There is a handicapped accessible trail and a fence around the risky part.
Quiet and private.
In my opinion, not suitable for larger RVs
