As the title of this review states, the sites themselves aren't anything special - they are comfortably long and wide, level with gravel pads and grass / dirt patio... an issue if it were raining, I would think. The 50 amp power was stable, the water pressure was excellent and the sewer was easy to access and hookup. Other than that, site sites are just a flat place to park with a picnic table and fire ring... nothing special to look at.
However, the surrounding areas are magnificent. A short 3-minute walk toward the back of the park puts you right on an enormous beach with beautiful breaking waves, forested cliffs and plenty of rock outcroppings to explore. The beach was clean and serene, not even remotely crowded and seemed to stretch on forever.
Coos Bay, a quick drive right up the road, is a charming community with all the requisite small-town attractions: museums, saloons, art galleries, gift shops, a distillery, restaurants... and even a couple large scale supermarkets to load up on supplies and countless small mom's-n-pop's for a few quick things.
Also, wifi was EXCELLENT.
Quick note: Our GPS routed us up Beaver Hills / Seven Devils roads to get here from 101 N. I DO NOT recommend this route for vehicles larger than 30' or so unless you're an extremely skilled driver who enjoys a serious challenge of tight, twisty corners on very narrow roads and short but very steep grades. We did it in our 42' plus tow'd, but the park's owners were amazed we made it through unscathed.
EDIT: I stand by my review of OUR site, but as I walked around the park last evening I saw quite a few sites that were far more aesthetically appealing than our own. The further in the back of the park, the better.

Lots of beach access. It's a public beach but not crowded. Nice place but pretty average for the area. Take some time to explore up the road to Shore Acres. It's worth it.
Nice laundry facilities and the cabins are bomb.

They are doing a lot of work to make this park better, must be under new ownership. The location on the beach was wonderful. Our dogs had the beat time because they could just run and run. We had to ride our bikes 2 miles to watch the sunset as the beach in front of the park is not oriented to the west. The bathrooms and the showers are in need of a over haul. Showers were smelly and extremely uncomfortable. I paid for better Wi-Fi and it was still extremely poor: not worth it. We paid for two nights but left after 1 because I think there is much more to see north.

This park is located right next to the beach with a few tent sites and small studio cabins that have ocean views. Sites are close together but well taken care of. WiFi even after paying for the upgrade was not good. The location is amazing and the 1/2 mile mile of beach was only used by park guests which gives you plenty of room to social distance. There are several coastal State Parks close by which are a must see! The Oregon coastline is phenomenally breathtaking!

This park is right on a beautiful expansive beach. The sites are simple with a picnic table and fire ring, but very comfortable. We stayed over the Christmas holiday and were surprised there were only a few people in the park so it was very quiet. I would definitely recommend staying towards the back of the park if possible. Close to several state parks with great views and trails to hike. Would definitely stay again.
They do charge a $25 fee to lock into your preferred site when you make reservations which was kind of a bummer, but worth it to be close to the the beach access. Also charged an extra $5 for each of our 2 kids (which is not included in the price I mentioned above.

Oceanside is a well organized and clean place to stay. It's not a huge park but has all of the amenities you need. The best part is the beach access. You can hear the waves and with a short walk you're on the beach! While it's easy to get into the sites, especially the pull-thru's, some sites are kind of snug for big rigs and you're pretty close to one another. But the park is laid out in a way that there are several sites you can reserve to get a bit more privacy. We stayed in #55 and it was fantastic. We had a large area for the fire pit and picnic table and didn't feel like we were staring at the side of another person's rig. However, we paid $25 to lock in the site when we made the reservation. The RV park has several small cabins and even a yurt. So you could stay with non-RV friends and family. Or, put the teenagers in there so you can have some adult time to yourself. One of the cabins is beachfront and has a fantastic view of the ocean (it's called a Seaside Shanty). Keep in mind that it doesn't have a bathroom or kitchen but can access the campground restroom easily. As with most RV Parks, the wifi isn't great. I work from the road and had to rely on my Verizon hotspot.

Nice, clean RV park a super short walk from the beach. The site wasnt fancy but was perfectly acceptable. We were glad we didn’t try to pay for premium spots as all they don’t offer actual views; they are adjacent to the beach path.
We arrived after closing an all our info was readily available for us in the after-hours black mail box by the office. Wifi had a few blinks but was mostly ok. (We both were working and didn’t have any major connectivity issues.)
