They have everything, if course it's a mall. But it was very refreshing after visiting the "Natural Bridge Caverns" 30 minutes from San Antonio. We went to the food court and had an ice cream at Ghiraldi's. Best Ice Cream I've ever had! Then enjoyed "Captain America: Civil War" in the IMAX theater at the Rivercenter.
Let's be honest. We all really love the Riverwalk. It gives it a Europe/French feel cause everything is short distance from the the water. Stroll by the river and try out any of the great restaurants along the walkway. They're all good.
Very long "Discovery Tour". We took a 75 min. tour into the caverns. Take shorts and tennis shoes if you want to enjoy this one. Definitely a must if you've never been to San Antonio before.
Really loved walking around the park. Even though part of the huge fountain surrounding the park was off, it is very enjoyable for a couple and even a family. Tag it along with going upstairs to the "Tower of the Americas".
Very cheap hotel. In construction as of 05/2016
The experience is unforgettable! You need to do this and take the 4D ride downstairs (better than expected [watch out for the snake scene]).
