Most sites have adequate space between but some are close. Many have a lake view. Modern and clean restrooms. Daily trash pickup at curbside. Small playground. An old picnic shelter is in need of some TLC. There are some long term residents scattered throughout. About 45 minutes to downtown Nashville. Nice fire pits and picnic tables. Wide concrete pads. Compared to similar RV parks they are a little over priced in my opinion.

Hookups are at back so you need long cord and hoses. Sites are not level. Only 5 others when we were there on a Saturday night in September. Grass had recently been mowed and clippings covered sites so much that it was difficult to see concrete pads. Easy access and convenient location.

We arrived on a Saturday around 5pm. As soon as we got out of the truck the smell was overwhelming. At first we thought it was coming from the sewer hookups but discovered it was from a cattle stockyard. We had to cover our noses when outside. There were 2 other campers here, both long term. Very noisy all night even for a Saturday night. Won’t stay here again. Don’t drive down 8th street. Every intersection has a big dip.

Beautiful designated Boondocking sites. Quite a few would accommodate our 32’ fifth wheel. 5 stars for location and beauty but dropped to 3 stars for horrible road condition. Extreme washboard road. Couldn’t drive over 5 mph without bouncing all over.

Clean and quiet with plenty of space. Full hookups for $12. Arrived on Monday in February and there were only 4 other campers here. No fire ring or picnic table. Not level but not bad. Some road noise.

Airplane noise is significant until around 9pm. Highway noise and noise from nearby truck stops are a source of constant noise. Sites are close together as is common at RV parks. Convenient one night stop when traveling. Some sites have a private fenced area for your dog which is nice unless you are next to someone with noisy dogs that are left in the fenced area. Overall campground has a run down feel to it.

Roads are gravel but in good condition. Site was level. Laundry room was ok. $1.50 per washer, $2.00 for dryer. Roadrunner cafe was good. Office staff do not wear masks and signs state “wear a mask if it makes you feel more comfortable “. Long term residents are located in a separate area from travelers. Location, cafe, and price make this a decent one night stop.

Pulled in and could not determine where we were supposed to park. There were electrical hookups scattered about so we just pulled up next to one. We had no idea if we were in a campsite or on the road. Very confusing mostly due to everything covered in dirt and no signage. Quite a few long term campers here.

Have stayed here twice. Both times for 2 nights each. River an one side and forested hill on the other. Both times were peaceful and relaxing. Not a lot but decent space between most sites. Many sites are just 10-15 feet from river. Clean both times. Camped in 32’ travel trailer.
