Nice little stop. It’s at a rest stop so there’s garbage and washrooms. There’s also a visitor information centre there (looks like an old train station) where you can buy souvenirs and snacks. They have a cutout where you can put your face in and get a picture driving in the last spike. Information signs and a rail car you can get a pic with as well. Interesting place and worth the stop.

Still cool to see even if you don’t want to pay the money to go up inside. It is big! Right next to a couple gift shops, splash pad, washrooms, and ice cream. Not far off the beaten path so worth the stop

Cute little ferry that actually runs on a sort of electrical pulley system that’s interesting to see in action. Really fast crossing - we were the only ones waiting to go across and it only took a couple minutes for the whole affair. A fun addition if you’re doing the dinosaur trail drive up and across.

The plaque today says that Mac has officially regained his status as tallest in the world after some sort of “Moose Truce” with Norway in 2019.

There is a fence around so any pictures have to be taken from a distance. The visitor information centre is also right there and has exhibits on tourist attractions and washrooms.

5 stars because it was exactly as pictured. Except he was wearing a party hat when we went - not sure what the occasion was! Haha good photo-op. Very quick stop.

There’s a bit of parking, but not much. It’s next to a small art gallery/shop which is mostly unrelated although they do have a couple Max the Moose/tourism themed pieces.

Really beautiful. Short stop. Actually in the provincial park so you have to pay to get in, but you can buy a 2-hour pass for around $5 and that’s plenty of time to take the short boardwalk to all of the viewpoints. The 2nd highest waterfall in ON after Niagara Falls.

This is a really beautiful monument. Lots of detail to see in the carving. It’s off the highway and the exit leads you up a tree-lined driveway to a rest stop with washrooms and a short path that takes you over to the monument. The monument itself is amazing, but there’s also a great view out over the lake and binoculars you can use to look out at the rocks. Well worth the stop.

Exactly as pictured. It’s not a huge place, but there is the monument in the cover photo, parking, a playground/park, and a little info building with washrooms and a bunch of Pooh Bear memorabilia/collectibles on display. Quick stop

5 stars because it’s exactly as expected. It’s at a rest stop so there’s easy parking for cars or bigger campers/trailers. There are washrooms here too and information/maps/history plaques/gift shop. It also has an amazing landscape view down over the highway. Great short stop to stretch the legs and check out the goose.

It is a big nickel! The big nickel is up with Dynamic Earth - they share a parking lot which does cost money, but it’s very cheap (about $2 an hour). The nickel is cool and has some information plaques with history of the statue and the area. Good opportunity for a photo-op and a bit of a view since it’s on a hill. We decided to extend our visit and go to Dynamic Earth for a mine tour and to check out the exhibits. The mine tour was really cool and informative. Most of the exhibits in the building were targeted at children but there were some cool mining game/simulators and an awesome Sudbury history video that we both really enjoyed. If you’re going to see the nickel I would recommend extending your visit and checking out the building as well (the mine tour was 1h15 and we spent about 45min-1h touring exhibits in Dynamic Earth).
