We stopped here for one night and the facilities are amazing. The park is huge with every kind of site you might want. Everything was clean and each site had some pretty great fire pits. Unfortunately, it poured rain all night. The rain could have been the reason the internet was slow if everyone else was using it. While the signal appeared strong, the service itself lagged and we stopped trying to use it. We would definitely come back, given the quality of the sites, the access to the trail and activities -- but for the price, I hope they improve their internet.

We stayed here for one night on a long trip to see family and have a place with hookups for the hot summer night. The sites are pull-through, but the shorter sites are dirt/grass and have shared electrical boxes, which meant that we had to grab out the extension cord and plugin on the other side of the RV. Also, because these sites are dirt/grass, they apparently decide to water the sites between guests, so there were muddy puddles everywhere. These sites are also extremely close together, so there's not much room (if any) between your neighbor's slide and your awning. If you're coming here, I recommend paying for the longer pull-through sites - you'll get a paved pad, your own electrical box on the side where your hookups are, and slightly more space to spread out.

We pulled off I-10 to stay for the night on a cross-country trip. This park is just off the exit and you drive through the gas station entrance to get here, but the park is remarkably quiet and scenic for being in the middle of the desert and right next to the highway. We arrived around 4:30 pm on a Friday and the office wasn't open. They have a dropbox that tells you to find a spot and pay the nightly rate in the dropbox. The restaurant is closed, but if you need anything at the gas station, it is very close. For $20, we have water, sewer, and electricity. The T-Mobile cell service is amazing, but there aren't over-the-air TV channels. The sites are a little close together, but the first half have pretty desert plants between each site. There are clearly some long-term residents, but we felt safe and welcome and would definitely come back as a stopover.

We stopped here for an overnight stop on our road trip. The staff was very helpful when we called to reserve a spot earlier in the day. The park is clean with level spots. It looks like there are a lot of people who stay for extended periods. We got a neat treat at check-in with recommendations for more treats in town. The office also has a cute shop with the basics, if you need them, and some gifts. There are also a couple of cabins available if you don't have a camper.

This park is a bit off of I-10, but well worth the little detour. If we had stayed longer, we would have explored the town a bit more and looked for seafood, but if we're in the area again we will definitely stop here again. The staff is friendly and the sites are huge. There are plenty of trees to keep things private. They also offer firewood for sale, if you want it.

I was a little skeptical about this location because it is so close to the freeway, but it looked nicer than the location closer to the Mesilla. We weren't disappointed. It was close enough for a walk into town - sidewalks the whole way - and the resort itself is very well taken care of. the pull-through sites go in opposite directions, so the side with your hook-ups face each other and there is a privacy fence to keep your lounge area private.

We had the bad luck of going there the weekend of the huge winter storm, but the full hookups kept us cozy and comfortable while we waited it out. We will definitely be back when it is warmer and we can enjoy the area a bit more.

This 55+ RV park and resort is well maintained. Most people appear to stay long-term, but they have short term spots available without reservations. We aren't in the "55+" age bracket, but if you call ahead, they will likely let you stay without any questions (we're 2 adults and 1 dog).

The park has a large number of park models in the back; the RV spots are in the front of the park, closer to the I-10. Most sites are pull-through sites, with some back-in sites. All sites have a view of something. Most sites have white fence panels between for privacy, but if you're staying over it might be worth driving through to check out the available sites before choosing one.

That brings me to the procedure for overnight camping here. We arrived on a weekend, so the front office wasn't open. Next to the office door, there are two clear boxes -- one with envelopes and the second with maps. The envelopes have site numbers and are available for short term stays. You can compare the site numbers to the map to make sure you get a spot perfect for you. Most sites have both 30 and 50 amps, but the map will identify the ones with only 30 amps available.

The road and train noise is noticeable outside, but not a big deal inside the camper. We did hear the trains sometimes at night, but nothing obnoxious.

The amenities are amazing: putting green, pickleball, horseshoes, dog runs, pool…you name it. The residents were friendly -- lots of golf carts, electric-assist bikes, and small dogs. Despite some large political signs, it was welcoming. We'll be back.

Great views. The back-in sites around the outside of the loops are more private, particularly in Loop B. Definitely worth a visit.

The park is large with views that go on and on. We had a back-in site on the edge of the loop, so there wasn't anyone behind us and we felt very cozy. The site was a little tighter than we expected, so pay attention to the length of the vehicle recommended for the site (on the website) and whether it is a back-in or pull-through site. Even the sites in the middle of the loop had fairly good privacy. Loop C is smaller, so quieter. Loop A had far more sites, but you do not need to backtrack to get to the dump station.

Be aware: the only hookup at the RV sites is electricity. There are plenty of water spots to get potable water, but they aren't at each site and aren't available to hook up to while camping. The dump station is in the middle of the park and has two places to dump, but can get backed up if there is a line.

Definitely go. And definitely stay for more than one day.
