Stayed at Tolby Rv camp site. What an amazing place to stay. The stream that gets stocked regularly ran right behind our RV, didn't have to go far to catch fish. I pulled 7 brookies out of there in about half hour. The staff was friendly and knowledgeable, park was clean and well maintained. Park pass comes with day pass to other area parks, and a fishing license. Remember to stop at the town of Cimarron and have lunch at St. James Hotel, what great history the area has. 30 minutes to Taos and Red River.
No amenities or services except clean bathrooms. 1.5 hours away from Albuquerque, we stay here all the time to cool off from the heat. Usually not very busy and is first come first serve basis. Few big enough spaces for up to 30' RV or camper.
Conveniently just outside Durango, large RV park with plenty of shade. Clean restrooms, large dog run(s), serves decent breakfast and dinner.
Absolutely loved it, ended up spending few extra days. Fishing, boating, SUP'ng, you name it, the park has it, plus evening tours to hear tales and see the stars. Well kept grounds, clean restrooms, office sells fishing licenses if you don't have one. Friendly staff, will visit every time we go through.
Clean to the point of sterile, near down town and Arches (remember, you need entry reservation during the day). Not much you can say, that hasn't been said already. No frills RV park, everybody leaves early and comes back tired, so very quiet also. Dog friendly. Has good wifi and cell signal.
Rather pricey for what you get. Scenic view towards the lake, large pull through spaces but the park wifi did not work, and there's no cell signal unless you drive few miles down to the bridge. Ask about the wifi and internet ahead.
If you are staying in Gunnison, and you're 55 or over, this is the place to be. BBQ's, bands, Jeep convoys you name it they'll arrange it. One of the only places nearby that receives cell signal and wifi. Super clean restrooms and showers.
We stayed here a few nights, sand dunes park is great, and dog friendly. If you have a 4x4 take the trail deeper into the park and discover some not so busy areas where you can relax in the 2" deep stream. RV park itself is no frills gravel lot behind the store and restaurant. Clean showers and restrooms. Remember to stop by the falls.
Great Place to Chill and relax. The park itself has plenty of shade and a trout stream on the outskirt. Highly recommend for a weekend getaway or even longer stays. The town of Chama is relaxed and sleepy town, with a drive-in theater. Remember to jump on the train. Restrooms were super clean, staff extremely friendly and helpful.
Nothing fancy, affordable, easy in and out. Great place when you're looking for a quick snooze. Has laundromat which is convenient.
