Beautiful desert scenery right in the park! No cable, no tv, spotty internet. Sites are decent. No stores around except the travel plaza right off I-8. Ok to stay while passing through.
If there is nothing there why hasn't this been removed. Nothing worst than going off road with a TT only to find nothing.

What a nice RV park this is! My only beef is the sites are just a little too close. Each site has a small privacy wall and a picnic table on a concrete patio. Office staff is very friendly. Would stay here again!
Clean park. Sites are small. Just enough room to do what you might want to do on your site.
All sites are concrete pads and level. Only problem is that some of the sites have a raised patio which can be a trip hazard.
Folks running the show are great and friendly and polite.
Cotton Wood was an OK place for our purpose.
Fourteen miles off the beaten path down in the beautiful valley of Lake Mead.
We were looking for a nice site with wifi, to setup up the next leg of our trip, and cable for some down time. We wanted a level site.
Cable was there but did not work at all. Cable ends were missing or not working. Asked neighbors and they said they might on a get 2 channels.
I have to be honest I really cant say for sure about the wifi. I think I remember that it was good.
You can use your Att phone in the camp ground. The fourteen mile trip into or out of the canyon is ATT free, none, notta, narry.
The people running the campground are great.
One last thing and it seems to be true at all campgrounds from St. Louis to California. No one and I mean no one seems to know what kind of stone makes a good campsite. We have see everything from super trashy crush n run to what looks like volcanic ash.
Pebbles people nice pebbles or smooth stone. Something that you would want to walk on, NOT JUST THE CHEAPEST CRAP YOU CAN FIND.
Great RV park. Clean. Sites were nice and organized. Best place to stay for the Meteor Crater. If you stay there you will get 5 cents per gallon off your gas price.
Very nice layout of camp sites. All sites are paved for easy setup and leveling. Very clean.
Never seen an Elk turn on a faucet to get a drink before but I saw it here. If you see Elk leave them alone and just observe, they can and will attack if they feel threatened.
Be sure to check around the electric box for your cable connection. There was no mention of it on arrival and we found it the next day.
THERE IS NO ATT PHONE SERVICE IN THIS PARK HOWEVER YOU CAN GET SERVICE AT THE TOP OF GRAND CANYON. GO FIGURE.
From the roads going in and the roads coming out and everything in between this campground is a No Go.
Sites are setup to face each other, which is fine if you are buddy camping. But not so fine when you do not know the loud mouthed neighbor and do not care to know them.
Wish I could say better things but there is nothing to say.
