A true jewel in the crown of KOA Campgrounds. For the past few years we have been wondering just what KOA is thinking when they let some campgrounds carry their name.

From the minute you drive into this beautiful campground you feel welcome. The folks at the store are more than friendly and informative. They make you feel welcome by conversation, sharing tips on where to go and what to see in the area and by their demeanor.

Sites are level and stoned with a very good quality stone, by that I mean not crush n run, or blacktop millings and other crappy stone you see in other campgrounds. The quality of the stone on the sites means so much as we have two small dogs which usually track in everything, Here at this site, not a problem, as this site is clean and stoned properly.

Bathrooms are clean, large and accommodating.

If you are going to need a spot in this area this is where you want to be.

You are gonna like it here.

The campground is nice. Bathrooms are very clean. The first camp site we were sent to was very unlevel and had a very low spot. We called and asked for a new site and was given on right there and then.
I find more and more that campgrounds are using a very large and jagged stone on their sights. This stone should never be in a camp site. Level your sites, use nice stone and make you customer happy.
Cant speak about the amenities as Covid had them all shut down.
WiFi is iffy at best. Cable was fine.

This is a very nice campground. Our site was between two others but there were enough trees and plants to give the feel of privacy and being in the woods. Since we are self contained we cannot speak about the laundry and the bath houses. The property is well maintained, clean and neat. The staff is friendly and courteous. We would highly recommend this campground and their Saturday morning pancake, bacon or sausage, orange juice breakfast.

We called and asked if it would be OK for us to use their dump station and the gentleman told us that it would be fine come on down and explained where it was. when we got here we went inside just to check in and let them know that we were here and the lady at the desk wanted to charge us $30 I did explain to her that we are KOA members and she said well that only gives you a discount on site rental and it doesn’t give you discount on anything else including items in their store. She also stated that all KOA’s charge $30 to dump. We were very upset by this and felt that we should’ve been told before we drove 20 miles out of our way to come here.

Was not pleased and did not stay. Not worth the 26 mile drive off the highway.

Nice campground in the woods. We pulled in and found our site right away. Our pull thru site was one of the terraced one in the middle. It was level side to side and front to back and very nice.
Nice place.

We arrived on a very rainy afternoon and the site we were assigned was very wet. There was a puddle around the needed connections.
We asked for another site and they were able to accommodate with a site that was wet of coarse but was great for us. The site was stone and pretty level.
The folks that run this place are great. The pizza is very very good, who would have known. Bathrooms were great.

Starting from when you first get to the park entrance there is a $20 entrance fee that is nonrefundable. We were assigned to a site on Lane R, which is the oldest part of the campground. the sites are in terrible condition. the blacktop that you’re supposed to park your trailer on, is all broke up. Let’s just say all the hook ups could use some help. There are other sites that seem to be a lot nicer on some of the other lanes, so my advice is to check with the office when you make your reservation and the lower in the alphabet the better. I feel like we could’ve had a lot better experience if we had a better site.

Nice little park with friendly owners. Nice, wide sites with patio. Easy access to all hookups. Picnic table and fire ring. Enjoyed my campfire with the wood delivered by the office! Great bathroom with private shower! Will stop again when we come this way.
